Kermit Gosnell, the abortionist convicted in Pennsylvania in 2013 on three counts of first-degree murder for “snipping” the spinal cords of infants born alive after shoddy late-term abortions, would be proud of the Women’s Health Protection Act, which was introduced in Congress on Wednesday.

As you may remember, Gosnell ran a squalid abortion facility in West Philadelphia where he killed at least two women through negligence, employed two fake doctors, and kept the severed feet of late-term babies in jars as trophies.  Prosecutors believed that he had murdered literally hundreds of living newborns through his “snipping” practice. He was also convicted of over 200 counts of illegal late-term abortions and other crimes. He is currently serving a life sentence in a Pennsylvania State Prison without the possibility of parole.

But as heinous as his crimes were, Gosnell always believed that eventually society would one day come to embrace his horrific abortion practices.

“It helps that I very strongly believe myself to be innocent of the heinous crimes of which I am accused…I continue to feel optimistic of the eventual outcome…the vindication of what I’ve done, why I’ve done it and how [it] will become accepted within my lifetime,” Gosnell is quoted as saying.

While that statement seemed ludicrous at the time, now, only a few short years later, it seems his prediction may be coming true.

On Wednesday, Congressman Steven Horsford (D-NV) and others introduced the Women’s Health Protection Act, which would ensconce abortion on demand without limitations into Federal law.

This bill reads as if it was penned by Gosnell and edited by Black Lives Matter Marxists after consulting with ACT UP.

This radical bill, if passed, would be a monumental power grab by Congress, taking authority to regulate abortion away from the states where pro-life laws have effectively reduced the number of abortions and protected women from dangerous and exploitive abortion practices.

The Women’s Health Protection Act would not only nullify all state laws that regulate or limit abortion but would classify them as “racist” and “a tool of gender oppression.  The bill further states:

Reproductive Justice seeks to address restrictions on reproductive health, including abortion, that perpetuate systems of oppression, lack of bodily autonomy, white supremacy, and anti-Black racism. This violent legacy has manifested in policies including enslavement, rape, and experimentation on Black women; forced sterilizations; medical experimentation on low-income women’s reproductive systems; and the forcible removal of Indigenous children. Access to equitable reproductive health care, including abortion services, has always been deficient in the United States for Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color (BIPOC) and their families.

Never mind that Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist, Margaret Sanger, whose eugenics philosophy included eliminating what she considered “undesirable” minority populations, and that Planned Parenthood continues to disproportionately target poor urban women of color for abortions.

The Women’s Health Protection Act is anything but an act to protect women.  It strips protections for women by leaving them vulnerable to shoddy facilities and unaccountable abortionists, and in the dark by denying them information that may persuade them to decide against aborting their unborn babies.

The bill would further nullify existing bans on barbaric abortion procedures.  That would include the Federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban of 2003 and state laws that prohibit this appalling procedure that is so reminiscent of Gosnell’s “snippings.” During partial birth abortions, living babies are partially delivered before having scissors applied to the bases of their skulls so their brains can be sucked out of their heads.

The bill heavily references globalist organizations as authoritative.  What the bill does not mention is that those organizations focus on world-wide depopulation.  They include the pro-abortion United Nations, the corrupt World Health Organization, the abortion training funders and propagandists at the Society of Family Planning, and the biased abortion “researchers” at ANSIRH – a program of the Bixby Center for Reproductive Health, whose goal it is to expand abortion worldwide and especially in the U.S.

During the 2020 Presidential campaign, the Democrat ticket of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris promised that if elected, they would codify and expand abortion in the U.S. They wasted no time in keeping that promise to their campaign donors at Planned Parenthood.

“This bill has nothing to do with the well-being of women, because more women will be hurt by it as common-sense laws that protect them are nullified.  We will see more dangerous abortion mills like Kermit Gosnells’ Women’s Medical Society, which dramatically deteriorated during a time when Pennsylvania’s Democrat administrations imposed an unspoked ‘hands off’ policy toward abortion facilities,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.  “But this is radical bill is really the reflection of a larger socialist political agenda that aims to reduce the American population to make it easier to control. America is weakened by aborting our next generation and by the societal consequences that accompany abortion, which include degradation of the family unit.  Passing this bill will have devastating effects on our nation as a whole and especially on women. That is why we adamantly oppose the deceptively-named Women’s Health Protection Act.”
