New York, NY – Planned Parenthood’s flagship abortion facility, located in the heart of Manhattan, has apparently injured another woman, who required ambulance transport to a nearby hospital.

On March 6, 2019, two ambulances arrived at the Margaret Sanger Center Planned Parenthood, located at 26 Bleecker Street.  One pro-life witness told Operation Rescue that the first emergency crew entered the Planned Parenthood high-rise with a gurney.

However, since gurneys cannot fit into the elevators, a young African American woman was brought out of the building in a wheelchair and loaded into the ambulance.

A second ambulance arrived and its crew consulted with the first ambulance crew.  The first ambulance then transported the woman with lights and sirens, which were turned on once the ambulance was about a block from the Planned Parenthood facility.

This is the third time two ambulances were dispatched to Planned Parenthood for one patient.  Other incidents like this took place on February 15 and April 5, 2018.  This indicates that some confusion exists in the way Planned Parenthood calls for emergency medical assistance, which likely includes bypassing the 911 exchange.  Attempts to obtain 911 records related to the Margaret Sanger Center Planned Parenthood facility through public records requests have returned no records.

This is the fifteenth medical emergency documented by Operation Rescue at the Margaret Sanger Center Planned Parenthood in the past 26 months.

New York is famous for being a pro-abortion state.  In January, it shocked the nation when legislators cheered as they approved a law that has erased all accountability for abortion facilities and legalized abortions up until the moment of birth, then lit the spire on One World Trade Center pink to celebrate the expanded child-killing.

The radical pro-abortion political climate in New York is sure to breed more medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses in that state, according to Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

“This political climate breeds corners-cutting and sloppiness, because abortion businesses know they will never be held accountable.  It is actually an anti-woman climate because it places business interests of abortion clinics above the lives and health of women,” said Newman.  “We saw this happen in Pennsylvania, where their ‘hands-off’ attitude towards abortion facilities spawned Kermit Gosnell’s squalid ‘House of Horrors’ clinic in West Philadelphia.  When abortions go wrong, women can expect no help from the State of New York.”
