Two years into the Biden Presidency, I noticed Plan B on the shelf at the Offutt Air Force Base Commissary. As far as I know, it has been available ever since with no age restrictions – just grab it right off of the shelf.  The photo below was taken May 23, 2025, showing only 2 packages left on the shelf.  Exactly one week before, that shelf was full, meaning 8 children may have been potentially destroyed by this abortifacient drug in just one week’s time.

That thought should alarm every American.  Offutt Air Force Base, like every military base, is charged with protecting Americans and even other countries when it comes to dangers like nuclear threats, but some of this base’s most vulnerable children are secretly being wiped out by an abortifacient casually stocked on the Commissary shelf like nothing more than a bottle of vitamins.

Plan B is an abortifacient drug, meaning it has the ability to cause an abortion.  The pro-abortion propaganda machine has taken major steps to hide this fact in all marketing materials.  However, the mechanism of Plan B acts in three specific ways, all depending on when a woman takes it in her cycle.

The Bixby Center for Global Reproductive Health – a pro-abortion organization – clearly explains how emergency contraception (Plan B) works in a woman’s body: 

With the exception of something like IVF, fertilization – i.e. a pregnancy – naturally begins in the fallopian tube, not the uterus. That is why doctors refer to a certain medical condition where the fertilized egg implants in the fallopian tube as an “ectopic pregnancy.”  

When “preventing implantation,” Plan B actually does cause the abortion of a human child, as only a fertilized egg, ready to grow into a full-size human, would implant in a woman’s uterus. The pregnancy has already begun in the fallopian tube, not the uterus. This is the abortifacient action of the drug.

By ignoring this biological fact, Plan B and other “emergency contraceptives” get away with selling their abortifacient drugs just about everywhere – including within the Department of Defense.  If you look closely, these manufacturers change the definition of “pregnancy.” 

In an attempt to downplay the abortifacient effect of Plan B, the above Bixby Center pamphlet quotes a line from Health and Human Services’ Code of Federal Regulations: “Pregnancy encompasses the period of time from implantation until delivery.”

With this definition, if the child doesn’t implant then the child doesn’t exist – she isn’t allowed personhood. Yet, we all went through a pre-implantation stage to get here. From the moment of conception, when egg meets sperm, a woman is pregnant with her baby. And when someone intentionally pollutes her womb to end the life of that baby, it is called an abortion. 

Plan B should not be promoted, sold, or profited from by the Department of Defense. Our military is meant to protect innocent life, not destroy it. 

On January 24, 2025, President Donald Trump also began to once again enforce the Hyde Amendment, which states that “no federal funds can be used for elective abortions.” 

Right now, all 236 Department of Defense Commissaries are selling Plan B (potentially killing dependents). Taxpayers not only pay for the Commissary buildings, but we also foot the bill for the shipping and ordering process that puts this abortifacient on the shelves.

This must stop immediately. Write or call your Senator or Congressman today to get Plan B out of the DOD Commissaries!
