South Bend, IN — Pro-life groups are on the ground in South Bend and are making an impact. Check out our new Photo Gallery featuring creative protests from various groups. Operation Rescue is helping to sponsor the pro-life protests of President Obama’s visit to Notre Dame on May 17 where he is scheduled to give a commencement address and receive honors from the Catholic university.

Cheryl Sullenger became involved in the pro-life movement in 1984 and began her activism directing a sidewalk counseling ministry in San Diego, California, that saved hundreds of lives. Sullenger currently serves as Senior Vice President of Operation Rescue in Wichita, Kansas. Her research and documentation of abortion abuses has helped bring attention to the seedy underbelly of the abortion industry and has been instrumental in closing abortion businesses nationwide.
