OR to hold prayer vigil and display aborted baby photos at Roberts’ Bethesda home.
Washington, DC — Operation Rescue will hold a prayer vigil and press conference at the Bethesda home of Supreme Court nominee John G. Roberts to pray for him and challenge him to fulfill the legacy of the late Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist. Rehnquist was the last surviving member of the U.S. Supreme Court that dissented to the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade decision that decriminalized abortion on demand.

PRAYER VIGIL AND PRESS CONFERENCE WITH ABORTED BABY IMAGES
WHEN: Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 3:00 PM
WHERE: The home of Supreme Court nominee John G. Roberts, Jr.
6111 Cromwell Drive, Bethesda, MD

“Rehnquist spent his life on the bench casting vote after vote in support of the Sanctity of Human Life,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “We will urge Judge Roberts to finish the work that Chief Justice Rehnquist started and do all he can to restore legal protections to the pre-born. We pray the horrific images of the aborted babies will cement his dedication to do so.”
