Washington, DC – The Center for Medical Progress has released this morning a new summary video along with the full unedited version featuring Planned Parenthood abortionist Mary Gatter, who is perhaps best known as the lady who was seen in an earlier video haggling over the price of baby body parts because she wanted a Lamborghini.
Here are five important takeaways from the CMP’s most recent offering.
1. Planned Parenthood executives are stuck with their own words.
An independent forensic analysis by Coalfire Systems, Inc. revealed that there was no audio manipulation in the videos. The Planned Parenthood executives caught on video clearly say what they said. There is no putting the genie back in the bottle, no matter how much Planned Parenthood spends on their aggressive public relations spin masters.
Mary Gatter serves as President of the Medical Director’s Council at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. As such, Gatter’s conversation with the undercover journalists shows that there was approval of the baby body parts trade from the very top of the Planned Parenthood organization. In fact, she admits all but one low volume Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Southern California was already involved in contracts to sell aborted baby remains to Novogenix, a middle-man organ procurement company.
2. Haggling over the price of baby-parts happened repeatedly and was not taken out of context.
The topic that Gatter discusses repeatedly in the most recent video and in the now-famous “I want a Lamborghini” video is that of compensation for tissue and for the use of space at Planned Parenthood. Would she get $50 per specimen? Gatter dismissed that offer as being on the low end of the compensation spectrum. Maybe $75 might be more appropriate for each intact liver, lung, or brain? Yes, conversations like this really happened.

3. The recordings were made at meetings with large numbers of people listening, so there was no “expectation of privacy.”
On March 28, 2017, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra charged pro-life investigative journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress with 15 felony counts for allegedly violating California laws that prohibit recording private conversations of individuals without their knowledge. However, the conversations shown in the most recent video — and all others released by the CMP — shows conversations taking place at noisy social gatherings, public restaurants, or other places where there are large numbers of people milling about within earshot. In such public environments, there is no expectation of privacy. This exposes the California criminal charges against the CMP journalists as baseless and politically motivated.
4. The full video was released with a summary video so any accusations of “deception editing” are themselves deceptive.
When Planned Parenthood and the sympathetic main stream media mention the CMP videos, they often describe them as “deceptively edited.” However, the release of the full, unedited videos makes that description “fake news.” The summary videos have been edited for length, but the context of the remarks made by Gatter and others is completely in line with the context shown in the unedited versions. Again, Planned Parenthood’s executives said what they said and meant what they said in these very incriminating conversations.
5. The Senate Judicial Committee and the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives referred Planned Parenthood to the U.S. Department of Justice for further investigation and criminal prosecution.
So often mainstream media reporters attempt to discredit the evidence against Planned Parenthood by noting that 19 states investigated Planned Parenthood and found “no evidence of wrongdoing.”
However, not all Planned Parenthood affiliates were involved in the illegal sale of aborted baby body parts – but some obviously were. An extensive year-long investigation by both the Senate Judicial Committee and the House Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives uncovered a huge amount of evidence against five Planned Parenthood organizations that is described in great detail in the final investigative reports. [Read the Senate Judiciary Committee’s final report. Read the House Select Panel’s final report.]
Now, it is up to Attorney General Jeff Sessions to order further investigations and criminal prosecutions of those Planned Parenthood officials and affiliates involved in the numerous violations discovered by the Congressional investigations.
“We urge Attorney General Sessions to take immediate action to bring those responsible for breaking the law at Planned Parenthood to justice,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, who also served as a founding board member for the Center for Medical Progress. “We are a nation of laws, and if the laws are not enforced, they become meaningless.”
Newman has been sued along with Daleiden in Federal Court by Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation, Planned Parenthood’s partners in the illicit aborted baby body parts trade. Shockingly, a three-member panel of the ultra-liberal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has approved an order that bars Dalieden, Newman, and the CMP from releasing additional footage to law enforcement even if it contains evidence of crimes. All pro-life parties are appealing that unreasonable and illegal ruling.
This has set up a potential Constitutional show-down between the Department of Justice and the extremists on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals — and even California Attorney General’s office — that will be played out on State and Federal levels.
Will Attorney General Sessions be allowed to enforce the laws against Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers? Or will the rogue Ninth Circuit and the State of California be allowed to continue to subvert the law in order to persecute the whistle-blowers while protecting Planned Parenthood and unrestricted abortion?
It is a drama that is likely destined to be settled by the U.S. Supreme Court in the not-too-distant future.
