Wichita, KS, November 12, 2004 – A man from Missouri brought his wife to George Tiller’s abortion mill to murder his pre-born child. When Operation Rescue Staff called out to them with pleas on behalf of their baby and offers of help, “Dad” (as his t-shirt ironically read) angrily approached the rescuers and swore at them telling them to shut up. He attempted to block cameras that were photographing his outburst. As his wife stood by, “Dad” got out a wad of blood-money — the price of his child’s life — and proudly proclaimed that he wanted the abortion so badly that he was paying cash for it. Please pray with Operation Rescue that “Dad” will be convicted by the words on his own shirt and repent of the heinous act of having paid “Tiller the Killer” to murder his child.
In a further irony, the incident happened just two hours before the guilty verdict was read in the Scott Peterson murder trial. Peterson was found guilty of first-degree murder for the death of his wife, Laci, and guilty of second-degree murder for the death of his pre-born son, Connor. It is profoundly sad that on the day that Laci and Connor received a measure of justice, the “Dad” in Wichita, and nearly 4,000 like him across America, got away with murder.
