With Life & Death at Stake, Your Vote is Crucial

Dear Friends of Life,

America stands at a crossroads. Today, millions of Americans will go to the polls and cast their vote for President of the United States. Never in our history has the stark contrast between candidates been so clear.

On one hand, we have Democrat Barack Obama, who has presided for the last 4 years as the most pro-abortion president in U.S. history. Obama’s 2012 Democratic Party Platform expresses unequivocal support for unrestricted abortion – at taxpayer expense!

Obama adamantly and repeatedly has defended his large campaign donor, Planned Parenthood, and has worked to expand tax funding to the abortion giant, which already receives hundreds of millions of our tax dollars each year. All this was done in the wake of the July death of Tonya Reaves from avoidable injuries she received during a botched second-trimester abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Chicago.

In fact, Obama has ignored one scandal after another when it comes to Planned Parenthood. Those scandals include millions of dollars lost to taxpayers in billing fraud schemes perpetrated by several Planned Parenthood organizations across the nation.

But perhaps the most disturbing scandal in terms of human suffering involved documentation compiled by Operation Rescue showing 16 incidents where women were rushed to nearby emergency rooms after suffering complications at Planned Parenthood abortion clinics from coast to coast. We released a powerful video documenting some of those incidents, which mysteriously disappeared from YouTube as it was approaching 10,000 views. That video, now republished on YouTube, dramatically shows how our tax dollars are spent at abortion clinics that endanger women’s lives.

On the other hand in today’s election, we have Republican Mitt Romney, who has vowed to serve as a Pro-Life President. The Republican Party Platform is strongly Pro-Life. It asserts “the sanctity of human life and affirm[s] that the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed.” He has stated that he would work to defund Planned Parenthood and appoint pro-life Justices to the U.S. Supreme Court. He promised to repeal Obamacare, which now forces men and women of faith to violate their conscience by funding abortion and abortion-causing drugs through insurance premiums.

Other issues, such as the economy, jobs, foreign policy and more are also important issues, but if there are no guarantees or protections on life, little else matters. Abortion is the overriding moral issue of our day.

Please remember that we are not selecting our nation’s next spiritual leader. We are selecting a President whose policies will establish in our nation either a Culture of Life or a Culture of Death. With such an important decision to make, we simply cannot afford to abstain or throw our votes away on protest candidates. The babies cannot afford it.

Today’s choice is literally one that will decide Life or Death for millions of innocent pre-born babies. The Bible gives guidance to us today as it did in the time of Moses when He spoke to the fledgling nation of Israel near Mt. Sinai:

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” – Deut. 30:19.

Today when you go to the polls, make your voice count for all those innocent children who cannot speak for themselves. Please choose life and cast your vote for Mitt Romney and other candidates who are solidly pro-life.

We urge you to call or contact your family, friends, and associates and urge them to turn out to the polls and vote Pro-Life. In this tight race, we simply cannot over-emphasize that every vote counts!

For the voiceless,

Troy Newman
President
Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation

Troy, I appreciate what your doing for this cause. And I think we both agree that “abortion” is wrong and want to do everything that we can to ban it from society for the sake of Christ. And we want to be able to share the most precious gift of life to these children. I want you to lovingly and deeply inspire we the people of this nation to stand up as you yourself have stood up against this. When trying to get people to change their minds, express to them the fullness in the place where things are as they should be. Like the already overly strong hospital walls, so is their own walls of self-defense. “The lions may roar and growl,” but “who being innocent has ever perished?” If you call them out of their house and speak with them only, then they will go back inside of their walls of justice as soon as you leave. “Let them be lying in ruins.” You must call them out peacefully, and have them take down their own walls by letting them answer questions without laying a finger on their walls. Offer him a large cold drink. Bring many types with you to be sure he has one. SHOW him that your house is built on a rock on the foundations of the teachings of Christ. And strike them with warning about the approaching storm of inevitable death. Say something like, “Your plan would roll over very smoothly if there wasn’t an eternal torment coming after you.” Since the enslaved are predictable, the person will justify himself. Respond by saying nothing and remaining where you are. Let him reflect on his own self-justice. This is what he will do when you remain in his presence. He will then quickly realize this and want you to leave or want the conversation to end so that he may go back into his self justice. He will say that there is no storm or hell will not come. Tell him that his cold drink is going to be made into hot coals on his head. Do not laugh with him or you might be mocking the words; Do not lay a finger on the drink; because this is the terrible truth unless he changes. Tell him that in this storm he himself will say, “why did I not perish at birth and die as I came from the womb? For now I would be asleep and at rest. Or why was I not hidden in the ground like a stillborn child, like an infant who never saw the light of day? There the wicked cease from turmoil and the weary are at rest.” say to him “why is life given to the bitter of soul, to those who long for death that does not come, who search for it more than for hidden treasure, who are filled with gladness and rejoice when they reach the grave.” “But if it were I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He bestows rain on the earth; he sends water upon the countryside. The lowly he sets on high.”
