Topeka, Kansas – The Kansas Supreme Court ruled today that the mammoth 107-count criminal case against Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri may move forward and remanded the case back down to the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
“This is a huge victory for the cause of life,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman, whose group has worked for years to bring Planned Parenthood to justice. “Now it is up to the Johnson County District Attorney to do the right thing and prosecute Planned Parenthood to the fullest in the interest of justice and in the interest of public safety.”
The charges were filed in 2007 by then-District Attorney Phill Kline, who had investigated Planned Parenthood and George Tiller for illegal late-term abortions during his tenure as State Attorney General. The charges came just four months after Kline’s successor, Paul Morrison, sent Planned Parenthood a letter absolving them of any wrong-doing. However, Judge Richard Anderson, who oversaw Kline’s investigation was troubled by the evidence and noted that he believed that Morrison should never had sent such a letter. Morrison was later forced to resign amid a sex and abortion corruption scandal where he tried to use his illicit lover to spy on Kline’s abortion investigations for the purpose of obstructing them.
The case has been tied up in the Kansas Supreme Court for nearly two years while the court decided whether to allow sealed evidence and witnesses against Planned Parenthood to be used in prosecuting the group on charges of illegal late-term abortions then lying to cover it up.
Operation Rescue pressed hard in support of the charges with a series of radio spots, e-mail campaigns, a petition drive, and through a citizen-called grand jury.
“This case has been marred by continued delay and political corruption that has caused public confidence in the system to be diminished. In the interest of justice and closure for the people of Kansas, this case must go to trial. Anything less will only reinforce the belief that political corruption is alive and well in the State of Kansas,” said Newman. “Let both sides make their arguments and let a jury decide based on the evidence. That is the American way.”

Proud Woman, Pro-choice favors human rights? Really? It does not favor the rights of the humans killed brutally by abortion. In fact, “pro-choice” violates the most basic human rights because it denies the most vulnerable and defenseless humans the right to life.

Proud woman you are forgetting that so-called “pro-choice” is choosing for another, completely seperate HUMAN’S life, which you have NO RIGHT to do…..well maybe in pro-aborts eyes but in God’s eyes, whose more important than anyone, it’s down right dirty and not anyone’s place to decide on another’s life. There’s no “favoring” human rights when you’re favoring the DEATH of a HUMAN!
To be willing to sacrifice and unborn child under the pretense he or she is unwanted for whatever reason has an obvious from the gut sense of being wrong and the approval of our government to underwrite the dirty deed as “health care” sad commentary. When it is not wrong to kill, it’s not wrong to do anything. Look where we are today.
The fight is real. Life is worth living. God made it so.
How anyone in good conscience can honestly believe that killing an unborn baby is acceptable is beyond me. Murder is murder, no matter who the victim is, and no matter who the perpatrator is. We all suffer.

Lately the media has been showing all the abuse being done to animals. Why do you think this is happening? There is no respect for life anymore. There is a baby in that uterus!!!!! And you actually think that it is ok to kill it? It bothers me when someone says they could never put their baby up for adoption yet they can murder it in the womb? God help our country…..
I do not support abortion and by no means do I want Federal funds – my funds A- used to kill another human life. I am hopeful you will look into the fraud and deception Planned Parenthood has brought on by breaking laws to stay “in business”. I beg you to look into this agency with the eyes and heart of life.

If we sit back and do absolutely nothing to stop it, then we are just as culpable as those who perform these heinous acts. This is the new holocaust.
