Operation Rescue and other groups invite Christians to Wichita for prayer during the trial of late-term abortionist George Tiller.
Wichita, KS – On the eve of jury selection for Tiller’s criminal trial, Operation Rescue has released a new video with more information about a young woman who was hospitalized on Thursday due to a botched abortion at George Tiller’s infamous abortion clinic in Wichita, Kansas.
“This video shows the need to convict Tiller and get him out of business. He and his staff present an extreme danger to the public,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman who photographed the ambulance at the hospital emergency room. “We urge Christians everywhere to join us in praying that Tiller will be convicted and his abortion mill will be permanently closed.”
Operation Rescue, the Christian Defense Coalition, and other pro-life groups will muster in Wichita for prayer that justice will be served during the court proceedings. Tiller his been charges with 19 counts of illegally aborting viable babies without the concurring opinion of an unaffiliated Kansas physician.
UPDATED: Schedule for prayer events:
• Press Conference, Monday, March 16 at 8 AM outside the Sedgwick County Courthouse featuring Rev. Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition, Troy Newman of Operation Rescue, and other pro-life leaders.
• Morning prayer outside the Sedgwick County Courthouse located at the corner of Central Ave. and Main St. each day at 8:00 AM beginning on Monday, March 16, and continuing on every day there are court proceedings until the trial ends.
• Evening prayer and praise Monday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 18, at Cornerstone Fellowship, 3520 N. Arkansas Ave. in Wichita at 7:00 PM.
• Evening prayer and praise will be held each evening at 7:00 PM, at Living Word Outreach, 3033 S. Hillside in Wichita, beginning on Sunday, March 22 and continuing until the end of the trial.

Thank you for the video. The more I read about Tiller, the more I thank God that abortion is illegal in my country. I admire your courage to expose this person and his staff.Indeed I hope and pray that finally justice will be done.
I wish you hadn’t yelled at Cathy like that, it demeans the sanctity of life that we all profess to be in this to protect when it sounds like you are calously asking if she has killed the poor girl. It would be better to have the footage without the question being asked played. If it weren’t for your shouting, I would distribute the film for all the members of my local pro-life email list.
We need to strive to save the souls of even those such as Tiller and his crew. God wants all to come to Him and that includes those who provide abortions.

Probably you done this already: Have a crew with as many people with video cameras as there are entrances to the hospital. As soon as the ambulance is SEEN, dispatch them to cover all entrances to the hospital.

The Bible says that open rebuke is better than love concealed. Maybe you don’t get it. Tiller and his cohorts are butchering women and chopping babies. Asking if she killed another one is hardly demeaning of pro-life principles, in fact, is upholding them. Cathy needs to face the cold reality of what she is doing. Only that realization can bring repentance for her years of butchery. Get real. I would imagine that there is no one in the nation that prays for the salvation of Tiller and his staff more than the staff of Operation Rescue. Give them a break.
If you claim the name of Christ, then it is your duty as a follower of his, to expose these lies.

Let’s get real here: This “Cathy” doesn’t care what insults or questions are hurled at her. Nothing is going to phase her or change her mind about her complicity in the deaths of babies and their mothers.
To her and Tiller, the women and the babies are just “meat” being carved up and disposed of…but they mess up once in a while. It’s such an inconvenience for them, I’m sure.
She and Tiller are both damaged beyond repair.
wow. is tiller drunk? why is he driving like that? wasn’t it reported that he had to have his nurse direct him in traffic cause he can’t see. why would ANYONE submit themselves to surgery at his hands???? He needs to be STOPPED!!!!!

I hope this video receives the widest attention, nationally and internationally. Tiller needs to be permanently stopped from doing his bloody work. It also must not escape international scrutiny that one of this butcher’s cheerleaders is Kathleen Sebelius, governor of Kansas and President Obama’s selection for Secretary of Health and Human Services. It doesn’t worse than this.
After over 20+ yrs. in both the medical field and pro-life,I was sickened by this video and I have taken care of a lot of sic stuff! Kudos to Troy and Cheryl for this video- abortion is the sickest of the sick!I couldn’t tell- were the girl’s feet elevated? That’s a position to get blood to the brain(among other reasons)- Trendelenberg position. I have never seen an alive patient come through the doors w/ their head covered, but I am in another state. The thing that really stood out- in our state, different colored scrubs indicate who you are and what unit you work on . Cathy had on blood red scrubs-I had never seen red ones before. Yuck! I’m sure there’s a good reason! No matter what, I hope the girl made it.
Carol- what should have been said? “Is she DOA?” Is that better? Kinder? There is a righteous anger to a lot of us who have been defending LIFE. I have worked with a lot of “gentle” pro-lifers, and a lot of “hard- approach” pro-lifers. Our end goal is always the same, and God saves babies and moms through all approaches. ALL pro-lifers need to work together. The Devil wants us to divide and conquer. I made a huge error in judgment a few weeks ago. I criticized another pro-lifer publically. As soon as I hit submit, I knew it was a wrong thing to do. The man was a good Christian-he accepted my apology…..but never again will I say a bad word about anyone in this fight, and yes, it is a fight! We don’t really know what happened to this girl, and it is likely that we will never know. These cases are covered up and treated with more secrecy than than our national security secrets!

Here in Birmingham a young woman was injured and taken away in an ambulance, but the Birmingham Police arrested one of the pro-life counselors who was prepared to follow the ambulance with his camera. Then the cops screamed at the other pro-lifers to leave or they too would be arrested. The police here need to be sued for their constant harrasssment and unjust arrests of us . Clearly they are in cahoots with Diane Derzis, who runs the New Woman All Women Death Camp. LIke Tiller, she is responsible for tens of thousands of deaths and she must be stopped.
I wish we could find out what the outcome was for the girl. I have a sinking feeling that she was a. way underage and b. forced into abortion by her parents. If she is as young as she appears to be, she’s as much of an abortion victim as her poor baby (or babies). It seems to me that most underage women who get abortions are either forced by parents or forced by the father of the baby. Especially the very-young underage girls. I will be praying for this girl, I hope she survives her injuries.
If there was malpractice or negligence involved, hopefully she or or family will come forward. Praying for this young woman.
Pam- I was watching the latest Life Dynamics DVD, and they were talking about the Birmingham police. Apparently, many of the police officers work a second job- give you one guess where?
