Comments to media will be followed by a public memorial to slain teen.
Topeka, KS – Nov 02, 2005 Operation Rescue will hold a press conference in front of the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts on Thursday to demand that disciplinary action be taken against late-term abortionist George R. Tiller, who killed 19-year old Christin Gilbert during a third trimester abortion in January. Gilbert’s recently released autopsy report confirms Tiller’s culpability in her tragic death.
OR has been informed that a KSBHA decision is eminent on whether to file charges against Tiller in this matter or close the case.
OR will be joined by other pro-life groups from around the state in making statements to the media.
The press conference will be immediately followed by a brief memorial service to remember the all too brief life of Christin Gilbert, a young lady with Down syndrome who was active in her community and loved by all who knew her.
