Wichita, KS — Operation Rescue will be making an important announcement later this month that could have a significant impact on the abortion industry as it kicks off its new “Year of Justice” campaign.
Operation Rescue has scheduled a number of press conferences and events coinciding with the 33rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that decriminalized abortion.
“This year, like never before, we will be seeking justice on behalf of the innocent victims of abortion,” said Operation Rescue president Troy Newman. “We will seek justice through the courts by supporting pro-life judges. We will seek justice through the legislature by supporting legislation that will protect the innocent, and we will seek justice for a 19-year old Down Syndrome teenager named Christin Gilbert who died a year ago this month from complications to a third-trimester abortion procured at George Tiller’s Wichita abortion mill.”
