The Battle Lines Have Been Drawn and It’s About to Get UGLY!

UPDATE: Last night, Congress passed a temporary patch to the budget problem that thankfully defunded abortion in the District of Columbia, but put off the matter of defunding Planned Parenthood nationwide. That vote will now be taken separately at a later date, as will the matter defunding of Obamacare. This fight has only just begun…

Dear Friend,

I’m a peaceful man; I don’t look for a fight. But sometimes the fight finds you. That happened the day I saw a picture of an aborted child laying mangled and bloody in a trash can.

That picture changed my life, and for the last twenty years I have been steadfast in my campaign to save babies from a brutal death at the bloody hands of an abortionist. In that time we have seen two-thirds of the nation’s “chop-shops” and “houses of horror” shut down – never to reopen. Multitudes of abortionist “hacks and quacks” have lost medical licenses, been sued, and some have even been put behind bars, never to kill again.

I fight because the babies’ lives depend on our work!

In the coming weeks, our struggle to end America’s Holocaust will reach a fever pitch, and by the time you are reading this newsletter the nation will be engulfed in a coast to coast frenzy over abortion funding.

And I desperately need your payers to support our efforts!

The remnants of the abortion cartel are rallying behind Obama and Harry Reid to keep their grubby paws on our tax money. The abortion cartel, led by the lead crime bosses at Planned Parenthood, knows the only way they can maintain their ever-shrinking baby-killing empire is with our tax-dollars.

I’m not willing to let that happen! When we stop feeding billions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, hundreds of their shops of horror will be forced to close!

When abortion clinics close, abortion rates decrease. We have seen it time and again!

You and I know that Americans are SICK of abortion and SICK of piling billions of our dollars at the feet Planned Parenthood and their killing machine.

The time to fight is now, and the battle we must WIN is the one to defund Planned Parenthood. This is the SINGLE most important fight in the looming Federal budget showdown.

Obama and Harry Reid have dug in their heels saying, “Planned Parenthood funding is the hill we are willing to die on.”

So the battle-lines have been drawn: Obama and his pro-baby-killers on one side and the defenders of the children on the other. But some cowardly politicians are sitting on the sidelines with their finger in the air to see which way the political “winds” are blowing.

Here is where Operation Rescue shines. In the coming weeks we are going to “call-out” these spineless politicians. We are going to force them be either the hero, who stands strong for Life, or the goat who squanders our hard-earned tax-dollars to the crooks at Planned Parenthood.

We have already proven that Planned Parenthood is breaking the law, covering up for child sexual abuse, fraud, and even killing women. (Last week Operation Rescue documented another terrible botched abortion at a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic – the fourth we know of just this year. Listen to the dramatic 911 call below.)

With your faithful support and prayers, Operation Rescue is going to be part of the nation-wide team petitioning Congress to defund the nation’s largest abortion provider.

This is a desperate fight at a pivotal moment in our history. Winning this battle will be one of the greatest victories ever on behalf of the innocent pre-born babies that will save thousands – even millions of lives. We just can’t afford to lose!

As I am writing this letter, we have a team of people demonstrating on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, and I need to tell them that you are standing shoulder to shoulder with them.

I will be traveling to lead protests and speak with leaders in Congress, and we will be launching an Internet campaign to activate the grassroots. It is going to drain our resources.

I’m asking you to do two things right now:

• Storm the gates of heaven with your prayers for this crucial victory on behalf of the pre-born.
• Give as generously as you can to Operation Rescue so we have the resources we need to fight.

Operation Rescue is in this fight to win because winning closes abortion clinics and saves innocent lives.

White Sheets to Draw Attention to Planned Parenthood’s Racist Roots, Call for Defunding

Washington, D.C. – Operation Rescue stands with LEARN and the Christian Defense Coalition in calling for a defunding of Planned Parenthood. The groups will display white sheets, a long time symbol of the Ku Klux Klan, at the U.S. Capitol today to draw attention to Planned Parenthood’s roots in founder Margaret Sanger’s racist ideology and the group’s continued targeting of Black and other minority neighborhoods for abortion. Sanger once spoke at a KKK rally.

Demonstration Details —

When: Thursday, April 7, 2011
Where: In front of Speaker Boehner’s office in the Longworth House office Building. The location is the public sidewalk on the corner of Independence and New Jersey Ave. SE Washington, D.C.

The pro-life protest will take place during Pro-Choice Lobby Day at the Capitol. The National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) is expecting busloads of abortion supporters, including some celebrities, for a rally at the National Mall and to lobby in favor of abortion.

“We are excited to be able to reach out to the misled and misinformed participants in the abortion lobby with the truth about the devastating impact abortion has had on America in general, and minority communities specifically,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

Dr. Johnny Hunter, National Director of LEARN, one of the largest African-American pro-life organizations in America, comments, “If Congress is going to continue funding Planned Parenthood, they may as well just give it to the KKK. Planned Parenthood’s main service to the black community is abortion. Like drug pushers who make a profit pushing drugs in a community, Planned Parenthood is an abortion pusher who makes a profit pushing abortion in a community. By aborting black babies, Planned Parenthood has killed more blacks than either the drug pushers or the KKK.”

Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, states, “We are displaying these ‘white sheets’ to expose the reality that the Founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a racist who supported the agenda of the Ku Klux Klan and even participated in their events. We are calling upon the members of Congress, who have given billions of public money to Planned Parenthood over the years, to defund this organization whose roots are racist, bigoted, and extremist.”

Statistics show that African American communities are disproportionately targeted for abortion. In New York City alone, for every 1,000 African American births, there are 1,525 abortions on African American women.

Apology Demanded from NJ Sen. Lautenberg for Saying Pro-life Citizens Do Not Deserve Freedoms of Constitution

Englewood, NJ — Speaking at a rally in support of Planned Parenthood on March 22, 2011, New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg told the group that pro-life people “do not deserve the freedoms of in the Constitution.”

Operation Rescue makes the following statement in response, attributable to Troy Newman, President, Operation Rescue.

Sen. Lautenberg wishes that he could disenfranchise pro-life supporters, which comprise the majority of the American people, and turn them into second-class citizens based on their deeply held religious and moral convictions. His remarks are unconscionable and offensive, not to mention extremely inappropriate for a United States Senator who has been entrusted with looking to the best interests of the people.

We find Lautenberg’s remarks highly hypocritical since his state of New Jersey is home to the notorious illegal late-term abortionist Steven Chase Brigham, who recently had his license to practice medicine suspended after he was caught operating an illegal bi-state late-term abortion racket. Let us not forget that the bodies of 35 late-term babies were discovered at Brigham’s illegal abortion clinic and that he remains the subject of a murder investigation. New Jersey is also the home of the Planned Parenthood office where an employee was recently caught on tape aiding and abetting the concealment of sex trafficking.

Perhaps Lautenberg should spend more time actually protecting the public from predatory abortionists in his home state instead of wishing to strip precious Constitutional rights from those who do work to protect women and their innocent babies. While Lautenberg prattles on in support of those who exploit women at tax-payer expense, women and their babies remain at risk in Lautenberg’s state from unscrupulous abortion clinics like Brigham’s and Planned Parenthood.

We demand that Sen. Lautenberg apologize for his bigoted and hateful remarks immediately and publicly.
