Like it or not, YouTube is a privately-owned and operated organization that has the right to post or delete whichever videos it deems appropriate. I believe this is more or less the same argument Christians use to support the Boy Scouts of America’s decision to deny membership to both gay men and atheists.

In a free society, private organizations have the right to espouse any religious/political belief they choose.

Besides that, the video in question ends with a freeze frame on an actual aborted fetus. YouTube has strict guidelines about what material is appropriate and perhaps a bloodied fetus is just as damaging to children as graphic depictions of sex and violence.

Don’t like it? Start your own video-sharing site. Free expression of controversial ideas, of either political persuasion, is one of the cornerstones of our struggling democracy.

I had an abortion 23 years ago. I totally support this video and am angry that youtube will not publish it. The truth needs to be told. I am so tired of hearing about Chrisitians supporting Obama. What side of the fence are they standing on? LIFE is a foundational issue and Christians must vote as such. If abortion was not legal many women would not choose abortion. I also agree that the graphic images need to be included in the video.

I cannot even stand to hear this man speak. He is annoying, arrogant, irritating, etc. He is a very hollow man and I pray that people will begin to see through him. With the democrats in control of the House & Senate, please Lord help us if Obama is elected….the preborn children won’t have a chance.

Unfortunately, we have chosen to take down the original file from the KCFL Google Groups site. KCFL has received phone calls from around the country about altered versions of the video appearing on YouTube. While we appreciate the interest in reposting the video, we do not want to have people mistake altered versions with our official version. I’m sorry about this.

Our official version is on Viddler, since YouTube chose to censor our video containing criticism of Obama.

Discussion of this video made a casual friend and obama supporter send me downright nasty mean messages on my Myspace page. I tried to respond LOVINGLY but to talk about how this video is true and what the unborn child looks like and she actually told me (she had had an abortion) that its a LIE and that there is no heartbeat at three weeks! she actually wanted to debate scientific fact with me! I wanted to be sarcastic and mean and let her know that only an idiot in this day and age could believe that an unborn baby is a blob of tissue…i mean you can get on the internet and see medically documented pics and find out the truth…i wanted to slam her for her promiscous lifestyle…but I had to force myself to realize that she is post-abortive. She needs to hold onto her ignorance or else she will be confronted with the grisly reality that yes, her child WAS A CHILD and she consented to its murder. thats an awful truth to have to swallow! so she lashes out in anger at anyone who puts the truth out there. i had to respond in love even though I felt angry and stung. But we have the truth on our sides and we just need to keep persistently and lovingly putting it out there.

“…and the Truth shall set you free.” I don’t get it. Sen. Obama voted and spoke. He had the courage to vote and speak on abortion and everything related before he was in the presidential race. Why has he gone from courage to coward. Obama! Stand up for what you believe! If you can’t be truthful or can’t speak about the issue of abortion because you believe the idiom of political correctness may be violated or worse yet you may lose some votes, then sit down. If you don’t have the courage to stand, then sit. This goes for Youtube also. Unrestricted freedom of speech through the video medium or get off the internet! Courageous or cowardly. You decide.
