Woman with four children had no idea abortion kills a “live” baby
Wichita, KS — A couple who intended to abort their fifth child at George Tiller’s Wichita abortion mill changed their minds after seeing photos of aborted babies on Operation Rescue’s Truth Truck, which is parked outside the entrance every day the mill is open.
Remarkably, the pregnant woman, Francisca, was unaware that her developing baby was alive even in the first trimester even though she has givin birth to four children.
“I am so glad that we found out about it BEFORE we went through with it!” Francisca said. “I kept thinking last night; what would I have done if I found out about this AFTER I already had the abortion?”
“This is not unusual,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “The truth about the development of the baby and the nature of abortion are often kept from women. That’s what happens when educational institutions allow the likes of Planned Parenthood to propagandize in the classroom.”
The Truth Truck is faithfully driven to the mill each day by Mark Gietzen of the Kansas Coalition for Life, who also coordinates a schedule of nearly 400 volunteers to cover shifts at the mill so there is a pro-life presence every hour the abortion mill is open.
Sidewalk counselors Donna Lampkin and Richard Moss helped direct the couple to Choices Medical Center, a pro-life medical clinic that operates next door to Tiller’s abortion mill.
“We often field concerns from well-meaning people about the wisdom of using graphic images, but this story should help people understand how important it is to tell the truth about what abortion does to innocent children. Francisca’s situation is not unique. We hear from family after family that the graphic images saved the lives of their babies,” said Newman.
OR’s Truth Truck fleet is currently on the road saving lives and changing hearts in Washington, California, Colorado, the Gulf States, and beyond, in addition to the steady witness in Wichita, Kansas.
I’m not sure how factual it is,but I’ve heard that the number of pre med students that wish to do abortions is dropping.Anybody know how true this is? I found a web site called Students for Choice. It showed smiling faces of men and women in white lab coats. Their add said;We are the Choice providers of the future. It went on to explain that med students are going to be needed for the future baby killing industry.I know that the number of clinics are declining. Anyway,I’m glad that this woman turned back. It’s great to hear a sucess story once in a while.How long are women going to fall for that “I’ts a blood clot.” BS?

I have found that for ever one saved child that you know of; there are many more that are saved without a mention to the sidewalk ministry teams. Sometimes you learn years later of a saved child with those who invested in the harvest years before never hearing the good word themselves.
Consider William Carey, one of God’s giants in evangelism, known as the “father of modern missions.” yet he saw not one convert in the first 7 years of gospel preaching in India. However his investment into translating and printing the Bible into Sanskrit and 44 dialics brought about revival for India with these tools came many additional missionaries and many many converts.
BE ENCOURAGED all who may be having a “dry spell” knowing that your work does not go in vain, if nothing else your consistency and faithfulness speaks volumes.

If this woman already has 4 children, HOW can she “not know” what is going on inside her body if she is pregnant again???
I read these same stories time and again, about women claiming they “didn’t know” about the development of the baby. This is the year 2007 for goodness sake…there can’t possibly be THAT MANY women out there that are in such a state of ignorance about pregnancy. This boggles my mind.
One more thing ; Mike I agree with you on this one. Unless you live in a cave,how could you not know? I knew that a pregnancy was a baby at the age of 13. I don’t believe that women REALLY believe that it is not. Especially not a woman on her 5th pregnancy!
Maybe she didn’t have ultrasounds until the 4th or 5th months with the previous babies?
Maybe her other children didn’t start kicking and moving until later?
Praise God that she and her husband found out the truth before they did a horrendous thing. I hope the medical clinic they went to (the pro life one) had 4D or at least 3D ultrasound machine.
These women don’t WANT to know that the baby is alive…in their hearts, every woman knows her unborn baby is alive…but when you feel you MUST have an abortion you CHOOSE to be ignorant so you don’t grieve over your choice. THANK GOD this woman allowed her eyes to be opened! I have always shown pics of aborted children…its the truth of abortion, there can be no denying what abortion is when you see their abused little bodies…and if pics of abortion make you so uncomfortable then you shouldn’t be so tolerant of abortion in the first place.
How interesting. I just checked a pro-abortion website. Apparently pro abortion lawmakers in Kansas have an issue with “Alexa’s Law”. They want to make stiffer penalties for those who attack pregnant women but do not want to “open a Pandora’s Box” by declaring the fetus human.
Pro-abortion lawmakers argue that there are penalties for crimes resulting in miscarriage. What difference does it make if the woman miscarries as the result of an attack?

With all of the sex education going on in our schools, fetal development should be an imperative part of it. Everyone is so afrid of “offending” the parents and overstepping their boundaries as far as sex education is involved, but they don;t think anything about showing how to use condoms; why not display the graphis pictures of what really happens with abortion, and maybe some of the girls would stop and think! Of course, parents would find it unacceptable, but there is so many more “unacceptable’ things we allow young people to view, such as violence and outright sexual scenes and displays of overt sexuality by the movie stars which they idolize, who have recently been in the public eye! Truth is worth more than fiction, and the examples they are given by the media excite the senses and portray sex as being the “in” thing to do. the consequences of unwed pregnancy, abortion and the misery it causes are glossed over by the glamour .
I agree, I think Fetal Development should be a vital part of education. I took a Child Development class in my Junior year (or was it senior year?) of high school and I loved it!
And part of the Fetal Development class should be watching a 4D or 3D video of a baby in the womb.

SAFE and LEGAL-remember??Better yet,show a woman a video on abortion prior to her abortion procedure,and then she will no longer need to ask”Have I killed my baby?”She will KNOW she did!…if she didn’t change her mind.
My daughter and son-in-law announced not long ago that I was about to become a grandpa. The whoops, dancing, and tears of joy at that moment testified to the preciousness of life!
A few weeks later, there was a miscarriage. Now it was the tears of sadness and loss that testified to the preciousness of life!
