Truth Truck Rocks Grand Opening Of Obama’s Nebraska Headquarters
County Commissioner ticketed for blocking Truth Truck
Omaha, Nebraska – Operation Rescue’s Truth Truck and a group from Rescue the Heartland staged a protest at the grand opening of Sen. Barack Obama’s Nebraska Headquarters in Omaha on Wednesday evening.
Equipped with signs that said “Abortion Is An Obamanation” and “Stop the War on the Unborn,” the group confronted hundreds of Obama supporters and the media with the truth of abortion. Since the grand opening was on outdoor event, the attendees were exposed to the protest for over two hours.
County Commissioner and former Mayor Mike Boyles was ticketed for blocking the Truth Truck. He later made the false claim on a radio station that the Truth Trucks picket funerals.
“Frankly, Mr. Boyles owes Operation Rescue an apology for his false and inflammatory remarks,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Just because you disagree with someone, it doesn’t give you a license to lie about them.”
Larry Donlan, driver of the Truth Truck and organizer of the pro-life witness, was able to go on the same radio program and give a defense of the Truth Trucks. According to Donlan, some of the criticism from Democratic operatives backfired since several callers defended the Truth Truck and criticized the Democrats for not supporting the Freedom of Speech.
This is the first time a Democratic presidential candidate has opened a statewide headquarters with a paid staff in Nebraska in a generation. It shows how hard-fought this presidential race is likely to be.
“Abortion has become THE hot-button issue of this presidential campaign, and we applaud the Nebraska pro-lifers for taking that issue to the heart of the Obama camp in their state,” said Newman. “We will continue to dog Obama on the issue of abortion whenever possible, because anyone who thinks that the issue of life is above his pay grade isn’t fit to be elected as dog-catcher, much less President of the United States.”

Children do not need to see such images! Sorry, I do not agree with the way you went about it. Why don’t we show the dead and mutilated bodies of the soldiers who die at war on a big truck and park it outside of an Army recruitment facility? Alternatively, how about an overdose victim with the needle still in their arm. I appreciate shock value, but this is absurd!

Children don’t need to be at rallies for candidates that support the killing of babies in the womb UP to the moment of birth. (That’s what Roe vs Wade did, it legalized the killing of an innocent child up to the moment when he/she is due to be born.
You’d be surprised at how many children would say “what happened to that baby, mommy?”
There’s worse stuff in the world that children should NOT see.

I’m just a simple Christian woman with a burden that God has laid on my heart.
I believe that John McCain is too liberal to face ridding America of the sin of abortion by overturning Roe v Wade.
I believe that Sarah Palin’s ascendency is a great pouring out of the Holy Spirit that is calling America to Revival. and that she is the leader we have been waiting for to end the slaughter of the innocents once and for all.

good if kids see it. They see worse on TV. I was eight and saw that pic of an aborted baby’s head being held by forceps over a jar. I was so upset. I cried. I ran to my mother and she explained what abortion was. My heart was broken. I went into my room and cried and cried for that baby. But ya know what? It made me pro-life. As I grew older I read more on abortion and educated myself. It helped me make good descisions as a teen, knowing I could never choose that. It helped me be a friend to women in crisis pregnancies who today are GLAD I told them about abortion and that their children live. Children are being indoctrinated on same-sex marriage and birth control and saving the planet and not eating meat and everything under the sun…but God forbid they learn the truth that THEY could’ve been legally killed when they grew in their mother’s wombs.
so when do we start caring about children? we don’t care one little bit about them in the womb, but then when they’re born we care if they see something disturbing on a truck…its so schizo!

As to Kayte’s comment that bodies of slain US soldiers should be portrayed the same way………WHAT ARE YOU THINKING???!!!! THAT WOULD BE COMPLETELY ILLEGAL!!!! We wouldn’t be able to show the bodies of dead and mutilated soldiers because those soldiers have rights.
Showing the body of a murdered er aborted “fetus” is completely legal…because “fetuses” don’t have any rights. In the eye of the law they aren’t human yet….
If people believe “fetuses” are not living humans, why would they even be shocked by one of those images…???
I think its time to put one of those billboards up in TIMES SQUARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KAYTE: I just have to say that I have 5 children. Three of them are under the age of 8 years. I am in complete support of the Truth Trucks. If I were with my children and one of these trucks was visible to them, I would explain that those babies didn’t have a voice. The babies need us to show the world what is happening to them.
America needs to be shocked! The world needs to know what is really happening in this country and around the world.
A soldier fighting in the army has a choice. He chose to join the military knowing he could be called to war someday. I personally hate war BUT at least the men and women fighting in the war have a gun to defend themselves from the enemy. Who do the unborn have to defend them from the abortionist?

Sara P., Where do you get your moral standards? Jesus is real and if you don’t believe that read all of His words as printed in the Bible. No ordinary man could have said and done the things He did and then there is the fact of all those long time prophecies that were perfectly fulfilled in Him. Don’t forget the large number of witnesses to His resurrection. Read with an open mind and quit making your decision based on what you see flawed people do and say. Go to the horses mouth; the Bible.

Judge Lyn V.White of Dougals County(Omaha) County Court was suspended for 120 days without pay due to “…misconduct in her official public capacity…” as a Judge and engaged in acts that “…were not only UNETHICAL AND UNAUTHORIZED BY LAW…” which Judge White “…should have known were beyond her judicial authority and the scope of nebraska law…”.(Neb.Sup.Ct.Filed Oct 4,2002) Sound familiar? Don’t let her order ‘legislate from the bench’ anymore. VOTE HER OUT OF OFFICE NOV.4,2008, and protect the rights of the unborn!

I am the father of five children under the age of 13. I have noted the astonishing ability of a three year old child to identify a human being in a picture of a fetus. This being the case, I do not show them images of a human being carved and hacked to death for any reason. Despite being thusly deprived, they are still able to eloquently articulate their disbelief that someone could kill a child in abortion.
I will show each of my children Schindler’s List when each is old enough to benefit intellectually without psychological damage. I do not want my children to have seared into their brains the “image and likeness of God” torn to shreds any more than I want to see CSI’s degradation of the integrity of a human. Although images of the aftermath of an abortion can convert an adult to embrace pro-life wisdom, I believe that children are uneccessarily damaged by such images.
Please stop abortion; and please stop the bombardment of our children by graphics that are not age appropriate.
