Security guards block Truth Truck from leaving parking lot, help abortion-bound women see the horrific truth about abortion
St. Louis, MO – Operation Rescue’s Truth Truck, driven by Mark Gietzen, caused a stir the St. Louis Planned Parenthood abortion mill on Saturday, July 19, 2008, when he drove onto their parking lot and parked near the front door as abortion-bound women entered the facility.
Security guards for Planned Parenthood immediately rushed to close the parking lot’s iron gates to prevent the Truth Truck from leaving while they summoned the police. But this action turned out for the good, allowing the Truth Truck to witness to the women in the parking lot for longer than it would have otherwise.
Gietzen was convinced that his actions were completely legal.
“They did not have the proper signage to keep me off the lot,” he said.
Apparently the police agreed. Officers made the Planned Parenthood security guards open the gate and allow the Truth Truck to leave as over 300 pro-lifers cheered.
“You would think if Planned Parenthood didn’t want their patients to see the Truth Truck, they would have let Mark drive on, instead of holding him hostage,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “By locking the Truth Truck into their parking lot, they were accomplishing our work for us!”
Gietzen and the Truth Truck were in St. Louis to attend the Walls Of Jericho Event hosted by the Defenders of the Unborn.

Great job, Mark! My husband and I have bright green t-shirts from the Youth for Truth Rally in Aurora, IL, that say CHOOSE LIFE in HUGE BOLD letters on the back of them. On any given day, one or both of us usually will wear the shirt as we walk through our town to Mass saying the Rosary. I feel if just one person has second thoughts and decides to keep their baby because of our wearing these shirts, then they have certainly served their purpose. Just imagine the lives you are saving driving the Truth Truck through the streets. (And remember to ask St. Michael the Archangel to join you in battle on your “rounds.”)

The actions of Planned Parenthood were criminal in that they prevented the driver and any passangers in the truck from leaving. This is unlawful detention of liberty is called kidnapping.

Why is it as a society of rational God fearing people we give credence to anyone who would tell us how to make this world a better place when the first words out of their mouth is their defense of abortion to continue to torture and kill the most helpless among us? We all watched with horror and shame as a former US Marine posing in front of a video camera held up a helpless puppy for display and then in an unbelievable moment of cruelty, threw this puppy over a cliff to its death.
Using this same despicable example of a total disregard for life to the abortion issue will give some understanding as to why abortion promotes the same moral bankruptcy for society as the individual who threw that helpless puppy to its death. Today thousands of so-called doctors are holding up human babies as helpless as that little puppy and throwing them over the abortion cliff of death.
Now Presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama has vowed that his first priority as President will be to sign the “Freedom-of-Choice-Act” which he co-sponsored in the Senate that would destroy every state law in the nation that is in place to limit and regulate abortions and parental notification. This bill will allow for the termination (killing) of an un-born child before viability which includes moments before birth and would nullify the latest Supreme Court decision to ban partial birth abortion.
This bill, the Freedom of Choice Act, also allows for post abortion termination (killing) of a live birth human baby. For a greater understanding of what is about to happen to this county. Just picture the image of Barack Obama standing in place of that other despicable image we just mentioned, posing in front of a video camera holding up a tiny human-baby for display and then in an unbelievable moment of cruelty, throwing this child over a cliff, into the trash dumpster of death like so many millions of other aborted babies before it.
What’s the difference between these two images? Only one, the former Marine who killed that little puppy could never be elected (excuse the pun) to dog catcher, while Barack Obama who vows to carry out his threat on human life may very well be elected to the Presidency of the United State of America to carry out his despicable plan. The same people who are telling you that killing innocent babies is a right are also the same people who are telling you that all the tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires and floods, are the result of carbon footprints, and global warming.
When the handwriting on the wall tells us that these consequences come not from carbon footprints, but rather the lack of footprints, baby-footprints, created by God in his image and needlessly destroyed by the mindset and efforts of these same people before any of those babies had a chance to reach their full potential, contribute to our society and help solve the problems of this world. May God have mercy on us all to do the right thing and vote for those who promote and protect life which is our only hope for a better tomorrow.
