Wichita, KS – We want to extend special thanks to the Sedgwick County Courthouse Security staff, especially those on duty in Judge Clark Owens’ courtroom. We were treated with dignity and respect throughout the Tiller hearings and trial. The courtroom only held about 25 people, but they made sure that Troy Newman and I always had a seat for the proceedings and the verdict. Some of the news accounts we read made it sound like the courthouse security were distrustful in some way of us, but in actuality, we had a great working relationship. We express our appreciation and gratitude to all the great people at the courthouse for all you did for us!

I was not able to be there but I sent my 13 year old son across the state to stand and pray. It was his first taste of persecution as he stood and allowed food and insults to be hurled at him. I am thankful that no real harm came his way.
Last night he told me that America looks like a terrible place to him and it made me very sad. He wanted to know what happened to the Christian nation he had read about in books. He wanted to know where justice was?
I assured him it was worse in other countries and reminded him of his safe trip and protection as he stood and prayed.
