Operation Rescue® is one of the leading pro-life Christian activist organizations in the nation and has become the voice of the pro-life activist movement in America. Its activities are on the cutting edge of the abortion issue, taking direct action to restore legal personhood to the pre-born and stop abortion in obedience to biblical mandates.

This is a wonderful story. Much as it would be difficult to treat an abortionist with respect, which Joseph Scheidler mentioned in his book and which Luis Mendoza took to heart, the story shows how crucial this respect really is.

In my country (the Philippines), we haven't reached this point as abortion is illegal here. And I hope we never reach the point wherein sidewalk counseling becomes necessary.

I hope Dr. Rivera and his family are doing well and are on their way to a more intimate relationship with God.

1. May God bless Luis for his faithfulness, in spades!

2. Doesn't it just figure that an abortion clinic would actually seek out a doctor who was on probation - for groping a woman, no less! - to "serve" their clientele.

3. Prayers for Dr. Rivera and his wife.
