I think we had reason to be optimistic about nelson before the cloture vote. He does have a prolife voting record including voting against embryonic stem cell research, something several republicans voted in favor of, such as McCain. The DEMOCRATS are not going to protect LIFE any more than they absolutely have to, in Congress, the White House, or in the Courts. Call them and write them, but the BIGGEST thing you can do is vote DEMOCRATS OUT, in 2010 and every other election - nationally, statewide, and locally too!
