Columbia, South Carolina – Two correctional officers with the South Carolina Department of Corrections were photographed on May 30, 2015, escorting an obviously distraught female inmate into the Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Columbia, South Carolina.
The handcuffed woman was wearing tan prison attire as she was accompanied into the Planned Parenthood facility – presumably for an abortion — by two uniformed prison guards. She was visibly upset and wiped away a tear as she entered Planned Parenthood.
It is doubtful that the prisoner was at Planned Parenthood for anything other than abortion since prisons have infirmaries that handle routine gynecological care and treatment. Her apparent emotional state also gives rise to concerns that she may have been pressured or coerced into an abortion.
After about two hours, the guards emerged from Planned Parenthood and drove the prisoner away in a state owned mini-van.

“It is tragic that the State of South Carolina is paying to transport women to Planned Parenthood,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “We wonder if the State of South Carolina actually paid for the abortion as well.”
Newman stated that with the ongoing scandal based on videos released by the Center for Medical Progress revealing Planned Parenthood’s illegal sale of aborted baby remains, it is inappropriate state tax money to be used to financially benefit Planned Parenthood in any way.
“With Planned Parenthood under criminal investigation in at least 10 states and a Congressional investigation under way, we urge every state to take measures to halt taxpayer dollars from flowing to Planned Parenthood’s coffers,” said Newman. “Is the Columbia Planned Parenthood abortion clinic involved in the illegal sale of aborted baby parts? Someone should investigate and find out.”
State Vehicle Leaving -Inmate-captThis news comes on the heels of threats from the Obama Administration’s Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, a unit of HHS, warning Alabama and Louisiana that their efforts to strip tax funding from the embattled abortion giant could run afoul of Federal law. However, this attempt at intimidation is unfounded since Federal law provides that contracts for funding can be legally cancelled with a 30-day notice.
“When the Federal government issues threats in order to protect Planned Parenthood’s money stream, it just shows how deeply Planned Parenthood’s tentacles of corruption have embedded themselves at the highest levels,” said Newman. “In spite of the bullying from the Obama Administration, we urge South Carolina to joint with Alabama, Louisiana, and New Hampshire in preventing Planned Parenthood from profiting at the expense the American taxpayer, and that includes expending state money to transport inmates for abortions.”
