Door for bold stand opens as O’Reilly focuses attention on “Tiller the Baby Killer”
New York, NY — As popular Fox News host Bill O’Reilly continues to take late-term abortionist George R. Tiller to task on national television, Operation Rescue is asking pro-lifers from across the nation to come Wichita January 20-22, 2007, over the Roe v. Wade memorial weekend, to call national attention to Tiller’s horrific child-killing business.
In last night’s Talking Points Memo aired during The O’Reilly Factor, O’Reilly told viewers that the situation with Tiller was the worst case he’d seen in 30 years of journalism. “There should be thousands of people protesting outside Tiller’s abortion clinic in Wichita,” O’Reilly said.
“We couldn’t agree more with Mr. O’Reilly,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “That is why we are putting out the call for all men and women of conscience to come to Wichita on January 20-22 and send a loud, clear message to America that we will not tolerate Tiller’s shameful attacks on the defenseless.”
Referring to Tiller’s late-term abortion business, O’Reilly said, “Is this what we want in America? Is it? This is the kind of stuff that happened in Mao’s China, Hitler’s Germany, and Stalin’s Russia. The American people cannot turn away from this — cannot ignore it. This kind of stuff simply cannot be tolerated in a civilized society.”
“Our public stand for the pre-born will help Americans to consider the horrific nature of child killing,” said Newman. “We are praying this will be a turning point in the way our nation thinks about abortion and will help bring the hearts of the people to repentance.”
“We have spent the last four years fully documenting the horrors of early and late-term abortion practices at Tiller’s infamous abortion mill and distributing that information to the public. We are ready to make a full-court press to expose Tiller to the nation,” said Newman.
“We intend to take advantage of this unique moment, when the eyes of the nation are focused on Wichita, and make a bold stand for life,” said Newman. “As Christians, we cannot stand idly by. We must act. Please answer the call of the defenseless pre-born babies and come to Wichita on January 20-22.”

I am very impressed that a public figure has taken up this cause, not to mention extremely grateful.
We know that the wheels of change are slow to turn. However, change does not happen in a vacuum; public awareness must be increased in order to help bring about the much needed change.
I continue to pray for Mr. O’Reilly as a spark to the increased awareness of the horrific treatment of the unborn, and victims that are constantly ignored by the culture of death.

Please put out the word for absolutely no violence at this protest. It will only hurt the cause. With respect to Morrison, I called his office and asked his representative straight out if Morrison would continue the investigation. He was very wishy washy, saying something to the effect he would pursue all criminal actions as opposed to those driven by a personal agenda. Everyone should call Morrison’s office. Put the heat on! O’Reilly has picked up the ball and now we must carry it.

OR events have always been peaceful and non-violent, even in the days of the mass arrests for civil disobedience. I think you have been listening to too much pro-abort propaganda that has always tried to portray pro-life grannies praying outside the abortion clinics as violent terrorists. I know the good people at OR and can assure you that they will put on an event of the finest caliber.
What are the limits in terms of number of participants before a permit is required? If there are too many people, won’t Tiller just call the police and claim they are assembling without a permit? In my opinion, after this election, it seems Tiller has a lock on every level of government in Kansas.

I fell once for this old proabortion media lie that everyone who goes to abortuaries is a bomber. We are not ALL bombers as the liberal media would wish to portray. Then I went to a rescue and my heart was broken at the contrite spirit of sidewalk defenders there.
Just how many baby killing sites have been bombed in the last few years?
Why would an abortion abolishionist select a place where FBI, BATF and tons of other local state and federal officers are going to be at- let alone risk life or limb to the prolife activists?

Large prolife actions have been at Tiller’s many times.
‘91 amd 01 to mention a couple.
They each worked well for the babies.
Let those in charge of planning these events worry about such legalities. They have done it many times before and are well equiped. Trained. And have resources of other veteran prolife warriors in the battle over babies lives to call on for expertise.
Either you are or are not willing to defend preborn babies.
If a little unlawful assembly threat is enough to scare you off- re-consider your prioritites.
If everyone comes as an individual united states citizen, and refuse to be lumped up into a group, then no permit is nessisary. Every individual citizen has the right to stand on any public side walk. Seems like the call it the first amendment.

Once again Bill OReilly has stepped out front with an appropriate condemnation of a lawbreaker. Mr Tiller has adjusted his abortion procedures in keeping with the law. However, the fact that he has not complied with the law on reporting information on 10 to 15 year old children should have been addressed immediately by the state authorities. It is unimaginable for this kind of illegal criminal activity to continue unabated. People all around this country should be outraged by this blatant killing of children. Thank God for Bill OReilly’s courage and support for these innocent victims.

If Tiller the Killer has adjusted his ‘procedures’, then what is his defense for killing the unborn child of the victim (Who DIED): Christin Gilbert?
Was it the fact that she had Down’s Syndrome?
Was it the fact that she was from Texas?
What is HIS justification for killing a baby that was likely perfectly healthy?
Was it being given a LOT of $$$?
I seriously doubt he’s changing his “methods” to keep within the law.

Tiller had to change his procedures to continue in his business. Now, instead of puncturing the brain outside the mother, he injects poison in the heart before the baby emerges. There is no justification for any procedure to take the life of an unborn child regardless of what term it is in. The Bible says Thou shall not murder! This is an absolute. Case closed.
The death of a child is a hard thing to get your mind around. How anyone could deliberately take a life for any reason is beyond the pale of reason.
Why has the following Federal law against abortion not been enforced?
The specific statutes of the crime are USC 18, section 1462(c), which states the following:
Whoever brings into the United States, or any place subject to the jurisdiction thereof, or knowingly uses any express company or other common carrier or interactive computer service (as defined in section 230(e)(2) of the Communications Act of 1934), for carriage in interstate or foreign commerce —
(c) any drug, medicine, article, or thing designed, adapted, or intended for producing abortion, or for any indecent or immoral use; or any written or printed card, letter, circular, book, pamphlet, advertisement, or notice of any kind giving information, directly or indirectly, where, how, or of whom, or by what means any of such mentioned articles, matters, or things may be obtained or made; or Whoever knowingly takes or receives, from such express company or other common carrier or interactive computer service (as defined in section 230(e)(2) of the Communications Act of 1934) any matter or thing the carriage or importation of which is herein made unlawful – Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both, for the first such offense and shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both, for each such offense thereafter.
