Oceanside, CA — The Planned Parenthood abortion office in Oceanside, California, has closed as of June 16 due to pressure from local pro-lifers. Howard Putnam led a group of men to picket outside the office each Monday. The group had been informed earlier by another business owner nearby that Planned Parenthood was losing their lease because of the problems the abortion clinic had brought to the area.
Although the Oceanside Planned Parenthood did not offer surgical abortions, it did offer medical abortions, (the abortion pill known as RU 486), and emergency contraception, which is an abortafacient.
Putnam and his group began to focus on the Oceanside office after Planned Parenthood’s late-term abortion mill in Encinitas closed in 2003 for the same reason. He plans to move his group to the new Planned Parenthood office that has just opened in Carlsbad. All three locations are in North San Diego County.
If it’s an abortifacient, then it’s not contraception. So, don’t buy into the lie of “emergency contraception”, unless you put it in quotes as I have here.

This is a wonderful success story. One would hope there is something like a crisis pregnancy center or some other Christian group there to take on these patients. I am utterly bewildered that in my training in the medical field, I never knew of anything other than Planned Parenthood, until after I graduated. Just shows the pull and bias that people have toward that organization.

Just heard the good news…no one is more thrilled then myself, since this is the same kill mill, that filed a lawsuit against me for protesting there evil presence…I couldn’t go back!…if anyone can tell me any information regarding this new clinic in Carlsbad, please let me know…and if anyone would like to join me…becuase I assure you, I won’t be silent when they are killing babies the next town over…you shouldn’t either! lol, and this one hasn’t sued me yet…!! I think that its wrong what you are doing. Women have the right to chose what they want. If they are not able to provide for a child or they know that the child will not get what it deserves then why put that child through that. I know what you are going to say adoption well yes that child still lives but do ask yourelf this do you know what that other half of you is doing if they are hurt or in pain or if they have food or if they are getting what they need no you dont how can you live with that. You are never going to stop abortion it will happen no matter what. Everbody make mistakes and you never know until you are in that situation. So you going to these sites and protesting are only going to make mothers who dont really have the means to have a baby go to these backyard abortion doctors and eventually get die cause they were not treated right.
