Fayetteville, NC – April Fool’s Day was no joke for one Planned Parenthood abortion facility patient who suffered a medical emergency so serious that she required emergency medical treatment and transport.
Pro-life activists with 40 Days for Life had cameras running as a woman – her head bobbling as if she were unconscious — was taken out of the Fayetteville Center Planned Parenthood on a gurney and loaded into an awaiting ambulance on April 1, 2017, at around 1:00 p.m.
The ambulance remained in the back parking lot for about 20 minutes before it finally rolled away, raising the possibility that she required immediate emergency care that could not be done while the ambulance was rolling.
Witnesses told Operation Rescue that the ambulance left initially without sirens. It took a longer route to the main road through a series of parking lots, and then only turned on sirens when they were well away from the Planned Parenthood abortion facility.
This represents the thirteenth documented time in 2017 that Planned Parenthood has transported a patient from one of its abortion facilities to the emergency room.

“We routinely get calls informing us that an ambulance was spotted at an abortion facility, but we only count the ones we can document. There are so many, we can’t even report on them all,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue.
As Operation Rescue continues to receive reports of medical emergencies at Planned Parenthood, the casualty count continues to grow. Since January 1, 2016, Operation Rescue has documented 40 such incidents at Planned Parenthood abortion centers alone, including the death of one patient, Cree Erwin-Sheppard. She died from complications from a perforated uterus she received during a first trimester surgical abortion at Planned Parenthood in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on June 30, 2016.
Despite the growing number of women injured or killed by abortion, Planned Parenthood still receives state and federal tax money to the tune of over $500 million each year.
“I have to wonder how many women must be maimed or killed and how many innocent babies have to die before Congress acts to fully defund Planned Parenthood,” said Newman. “If the U.S. is willing bomb Syria for gassing babies to death, the least we should do is stop enabling the dismemberment deaths of babies in America with our tax money.”
