Operation Rescue® is one of the leading pro-life Christian activist organizations in the nation and has become the voice of the pro-life activist movement in America. Its activities are on the cutting edge of the abortion issue, taking direct action to restore legal personhood to the pre-born and stop abortion in obedience to biblical mandates.

I try to understand abortion to the best of my ability, but I cant. As I sit here @ my computer I think to myself that as I write this-somewhere an abortion is taking place and I feel powerless to stop it.Some of my friends have had them and maintain that this was what was best for them. Most of them have fallen into the usual excuse that" It wasnt a human" because it was still in the first trimester. Some people tell me that prayer is the best weapon-so I will continue to pray. I just want to thank OP_RESCUE for not giving up when it seems like nothing is working.I just hope that women considering abortion, will see the horrid pictures on this site and have a change of heart.

Arx:

Amen, Brother!!!

IMHO, Chesterton was fabulous.

I like something else he said: "When people stop believing in God, they don't start believeing in nothing. They stary believing in anything." That line to me sums up the insanity of trying to find fulfillment through crystals, new age nonsense, and the like. Trying to find enlightenment in those avenues is like trying to fill up on iced tea when what one really needs is a square meal: You're never going to be filled.

G.K. Chesterton answers Josef Stalin:

“AS AN OBJECTIVE FACT, THE HUNDREDTH BLADE OF GRASS IS AS GREEN AS THE FIRST BLADE OF GRASS. THE HUNDREDTH SUNBEAM IS AS BRIGHT AS THE FIRST SUNBEAM. AND THE HUNDREDTH CHILD MURDERED BY KING HEROD IS AS PATHETIC AS THE FIRST. KING HEROD MAY HAVE COME TO THE END OF HIS PLEASURE, BUT THE MOTHER HAS NOT COME TO THE END OF HER PAIN. AND HER PAIN IS A PLAIN FACT OF NATURE, ABSOLUTELY RADICAL AND REALISTIC; AS SOLID AS A LUMP OF ROCK IT HAS EVERY QUALITY OF STONE- ANTIQUITY, UNIVERSALITY, SIMPLICITY, PERMANENCE. AND A STONE IS NOT LESS A STONE BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE ONLY PEBBLE ON THEBEACH.” — G.K. Chesterton

I sent the following email to Attorney James Ozwald.

It's important to select clients whose moral and ethical character you are proud to defend. Flora is not such a man.

When a man places himself in a position of power, as he has sought and aquired- he is MORE accoutable than others to behave properly- instead Flora showed his violent nature was his first reaction.

Even when he has time to think about support against domestic violence, Flora is a no show- when their was a vote to allow shelters for domestic violence against women and children to be tax excempt Flora did not even come and vote- leaving battered women and children more vulnerable and lacking in funds.

I doubt Flora will own up and take responsibility for his battery against Newman any more than he takes his responsibilities to protect and serve these vulnerable of society.

Sebelius has repeatedly opposed minimum standards for abortion clinics. Currently Kansas abortion clinics are not subject to any regulations or inspections. Sebelious is responsible for the cockroach infested baby killing chambers.

One would expect that Flora would be no exception to the law and in fact should be held to a higher standard than a non-elected citizen. One would expect that a public official would use a proper response to a legal protest. Instead Flora's response was violence. That he attacked a legal protest as his primary response indicates that he has a violent nature.

It looks like Flora resorted to what he practices primarily and what he knows best- like anyone else would. This leads me to believe that we should be concerned about Rep. Flora. If he has no problem attacking people (strangers) in front of 2,000 people, what is he like behind closed doors (with family conflicts) where his political power can cover up any history of violence.

Dump this guy.

What a terrific article.

As Joe Stalin evilly observed, the death of one man is a tragedy, but the death of a million is a statistic. This article reminds us that abortion is an ongoing tragedy, going on one victim at a time.
