Operation Rescue® is one of the leading pro-life Christian activist organizations in the nation and has become the voice of the pro-life activist movement in America. Its activities are on the cutting edge of the abortion issue, taking direct action to restore legal personhood to the pre-born and stop abortion in obedience to biblical mandates.

In all due respects we need to be careful about blanket party statements. Nelson is a democrat who voted against embryonic stem cell research. John McCain is a republican, one of several, who voted for embryonic stem cell research. And then there are the senators from the state of Maine, who are prochoice republicans. Unfortunately, no party is truly prolife or prochoice, which makes those kind of blanket statements difficult. Again, I respect Nelson for his prior prolife stands, and am again very upset about his recent turn of position. He is not the first prolife leader to be bought off. As he is a leader of our country, we need to pray for him along with the other leaders.

The sign about embryo research is apt because his (Nelson's) party is pro embryo research.

I think it is a shame that Senator Nelson voted the way he did. It was very upsetting. In all fairness to the past however, we should recall that he voted against embryonic stem cell research a couple of years ago. Hence the sign on the picture about embryo research did not accurately represent Nelson's stand on that particular topic.

"At one point the Truth Truck, a large panel truck that displays billboard-sized images of aborted babies, became stuck in a snow drift near a busy intersection. However, during the 15 minutes it took to free the vehicle, it was viewed by hundreds of passersby."
The Lord (and His Holy Innocents!) work in wondrous ways.
<a href="http://andtheson.com/rosary.html" rel="nofollow">Pray</a> to end abortion.
