i think that abortion is wrong all together. If i knew that when i had my child i might die. i would take the chance. i have lived a good life, why can’t they see there first snow flake or get there liscence? give life , don’t take it away . who says you have the right.

The Ohio Dept. of Health has recently revoked the license of MARTIN HASKELL, PIONEER AND PROMOTER OF PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION. He formerly testified about partial birth abortion and jokingly said the baby helps him with the abortion by curling his little fingers around the deadly instruments. He had no qualms about describing the method he devised to pull the baby out, stab his head and suck his brains out. This is one evil man! Haskell has not been able to comply with Ohio requirements to be able to transfer an injured mother to a hospital because he IS NOT AN OB-GYN! Despite his license being revoked, his facility IS STILL OPERATING ILLEGALLY! His clinic performs 2600 abortions a year. As a committed late term abortionist who is appears proud of his accomplishments, why has the law not stepped in to end this operation?
Ohio Director of Health, Alan Jackson revoked Haskell’s facility license earlier this month but District Judge Algenon Marbley issued a temporary restraining order to keep it open for the women who need services which have been started in the abortion process. At least, this was the excuse which I perceived. Haskell’s abortion mill will remain open until March 7 or 8 when a hearing will be held in Judge Marbley’s court. Yes, there are no words to describe this man’s cruelty as he jokes about how the little babies wrap their arms and legs around his hand in a reflex action which unwittingly keeps them steady while he reaches in with his blunt metzenbaum scissors to open up their scalp and expel their brains. He developed the partial birth abortion method which is now illegal, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors. His method now he probably claims is to kill them and dismember them,piece by piece.
I repeat, who knows what goes on behind closed doors? And-WHY HAS HE BEEN ALLOWED TO OPERATE THIS DEATH CAMP FOR SO LONG WITHOUT HAVING HOSPITAL BACKUP? I trust all of the pro-lifers will be there and they need our prayers! MARTIN HASKELL NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR HIS ILLEGAL PRACTICE TO CONTINUE! NONE OF THE AREA HOSPITALS WANT INVOLVED WITH HIM AND WHO WOULD WANT TO AS HE IS A LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN!
If a woman delivered a live child outside of an abortion clinic, let’s say in her home, and allowed it to die and/or disposed of it she WOULD be held accountable and everyone would think she was a terrible person and it would make the news, and she would probably serve jail time. “Mother delivers child and throws it in dumpster.” I think it must be the location of the murder, and I say this sarcastically, as legally women are allowed to partake of the killing of their child in a clinic, but not anywhere else! Yes, since abortion is legal, the women are not murderers. We have been conditioned to believe if something happens in a medical setting, it is ok. What can we do to prevent a mother from thinking she must get rid of her baby? Any woman who is pregnant deserves support. Whenever I see a pregnant mom I take time to give positive reinforcement to her, such as, “This is the best time of your life, you have a precious baby coming, enjoy every minute,” or “You are so fortunate to be having a new baby!” We never know what situation the mom is in so if we can give her some encouragement, it may mean the difference between life and death for her child. Ask her if she needs anything as you maybe have baby items or you know where she can get them free. Offer any assistance which you think she may need! Too many young girls feel alone and maybe have no one to guide and love them through their pregnancy. We have so many opportunities to help people without realizing it. Your words and assistance could save a life!
Look at the Amy Grossberg case as well as others like it. Amy served jail time for throwing her baby into the dumpster. Had the abortionist done it, Amy would have walked scott free. Wake up America! This country is in crisis!
Ohio has now passed a bill which will go into effect in app. 90 days where mothers must be offered a chance to view their baby’s ultrasound and also have the ultrasound picture. Now, instead of hiding the ultrasound, moms must be allowed to see their child, and hopefully realize the baby they are about to kill is a real living, moving developed baby! Hopefully we will see more mothers walk out of those clinics with their babies still in their wombs!

In September 1993, Brenda Pratt Shafer, a registered nurse with thirteen years of experience, was assigned by her nursing agency to an abortion clinic. Since Nurse Shafer considered herself “very pro-choice,” she didn’t think this assignment would be a problem. She was wrong.
This is what Nurse Shafer saw:
“I stood at the doctor’s side and watched him perform a partial-birth abortion on a woman who was six months pregnant. The baby’s heartbeat was clearly visible on the ultrasound screen. The doctor delivered the baby’s body and arms, everything but his little head. The baby’s body was moving. His little fingers were clasping together. He was kicking his feet. The doctor took a pair of scissors and inserted them into the back of the baby’s head, and the baby’s arms jerked out in a flinch, a startle reaction, like a baby does when he thinks that he might fall. Then the doctor opened the scissors up. Then he stuck the high-powered suction tube into the hole and sucked the baby’s brains out. Now the baby was completely limp. I never went back to the clinic. But I am still haunted by the face of that little boy. It was the most perfect, angelic face I have ever seen.

But what about if the baby had been aborted at a younger age.. say 6 weeks? When the baby is this young, doctors use the Saline Method, where they inject a salty saline solution into the mother’s womb. You would think it would just poison the baby, but it actually burns it to death. Even though the baby is so young, on ultrasounds of the abortion, the fetus is seen pulling away from the poison as it is injected.. obviously wanting to stay alive.(The baby is intelligent enough to move away from the pain..but the child can’t escape it)
Think about that before you say that unborn children can’t feel pain.

i have a 2months old son… and all i could do was hold him all through the night. The image in my head is repeating and i decided..I wanna do somehting about abortions but i have no clue where to start.. Abortion is so wrong.. that is a life.. it has a heartbeat skin and bones.. And i posted a blog.. stating that for every girl that has had an abortion should get jail time.. As a murderer.. It is my opinion.. What can i do and how?? i need direction.. I believe every child should have a fair chance at life whether or not it has something medically wrong with it….I wanna do something.. i read all these stories and see all these images and i feel so helpless.. i would take in every child in the world from abortion if i knew that it would live.. But i cant.. So help me find something to help …. i live in illinois and as far as i know it is illigal.. i think.. the clinics in springfield the paper they hand to you after you find out your pregnant has a list or abortion clinics and the closest one is in granit city.. My heart gos out to all you mothers that have had the thought of abortion Just think about it…Wait till u hear the heartbeat and see your child.. this is a gift from God you dont have the choice to destroy it.. This child Loves you so much!! Not only that but if your in the worse situation think about this there is help out there for single moms to be and young moms to be.. If your ashamed dont be .. Everyone dont look at you like omg shes pregnant they think OH A BABY HOW WONDERFUL!!!YOUR SO LUCKY!!!
1. Read up on the issues and write and e-mail your
congressmen/representatives.
2. Read all of Operation Rescue’s material and help
them in their efforts.
3. Volunteer at your local crisis pregnancy center.
4. Encourage pregnant moms-
A. Help with baby clothes and necessities.
B Go to Lamaze class with someone needing partner
C. Direct moms in need to resources
D. Offer to help with other children if mom needs help
5. Go to abortion clinics on their killing days and offer
counseling and support for mothers who are going
into these death chambers. Show the love God would
want us to demonstrate in these circumstances.

We in the pro-life community have been fed up for a long time with “public servants” who can’t seem to tell the difference between serving the public and killing the public. This election season, it’s time for that to change. No matter what politicians or voters or Church officials are or are not going to do, it’s time that we who know what abortion is, draw a line in the sand and give candidates and office-holders alike this challenge.

Bethany& Bill- only IMHO, but I have been in pro-life a long time. I believe that the reason men are our pro-life leaders is Biblical. Men have always been called to lead, women to support. NO- this does not mean that women are or can be weaklings. We can be and are very strong in the movement, but truly our leaders are all men- Troy (with strong Cheryl at his side), Joe and Eric Schiedler (with their strong wives along side) , Matt T. (again, with his wife along side), the list is endless. The only woman I know who leads the battle , and please forgive me if I have forgotten others- is Judie Brown of A.L.L. I wish that we did not have this battle. What has happened to the maternal instincts of women? This question has been posed forever. I ,personally, would take a bullet for my sons, and I don’t understand how 50 million babies later- women don’t feel the same. Have we lost our maternal instinct, our maternal drive? Bill-I don’t think it has anything to do w/ legislation -look at Kansas and it’s Governor for example. Some of the biggest pro-aborts ,sadly are women. Lord, Have Mercy!

have you been active in pro-life activities? I hope that I do not come across as a “know -it-all “, because nothing is further from the truth. But I have been ACTIVELY involved, for well over 20 yrs. Kansas is a great example-look at your Governor, and look at the pro-life men who are actively working to bring her, and her pro-abort cohorts to justice. How about the largest provider of abortion in the U.S.- is it not PP, run by Ms.
Richards? And how about the 50 million women ,who have killed their unborn? I have been on “Truth Tours” with almost all of our defenders for the voiceless, and it is the men who drive the Trucks, provide the signs, etc.
I am a factual person. When someone posts percentages (ie:70%), I would appreciate seeing where
theses #’s are coming from, and the sources. Pro-life legislators/ Supreme Court Justices: Alito, Roberts, Scalia, -all men. Pro-choice- Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Diane Feinstein-all women. Paula , you forgot to include: Gregg Cunningham and Mark Harrington of G.A.P, Father Pavone, Bryan Kemper and Stand True,etc. A side bar-prayer is the greatest pro-life activity that we can do. Thank God, however, for the truth trucks, the graphic signs , prayer warriors, sidewalk counselors- all who have the courage to do what they do.
Bethany - it is the women who are pro-abortion being controlled by the men of this world, not the pro-life side. You see, women who let the world pressure them into questioning their God-given instincts and natural motherly/womanly traits - they would rather hide behind a phony excuse for abortion than stand up to our “follow-the-leader” confused society. Melissa- what does menopause have to do with your voice in the abortion debate? That should be a non-factor. ( Many of our best side walk counselors are post -menopausal.) What and how you felt before menopause should not change after menopause…..or did it? Just curious.
Women need to be held accountable for their actions. Aren’t the PC women always they very people who believe they are in control of their bodies? Not if you have sex and make a baby you don’t want. Most women know how to get pregnant!!
i need help from someone. a girl i know has been pregnant three times now. she purposely miscarriaged the first time, the second time she had twins and now shes trying to do it again. shes drinking, smoking pot, and doing other things to purposely get rid of this baby as well. shes a horrible person in my eyes and she wont listen to any one. we need someone to send her a message. a wake up call. someone to show her how precious life is. thank you.
Brittany- sounds like you are a good friend, and that is what she is needing now. Seeing her as “a horrible person” is not going to get her the help that she needs.
As Fr. Pavone says”Love them both”. I don’t know what city you are in, but every city I know of, has a 24 hr. emergency crisis line- available through Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Please call one. Take your friend for an ultrasound- over 80% of women who have an US, keep their babies. There are some great links on OR’s home page, along with others, such as Abortion.NO, etc.PLAL (Pro Life Action League) is another great , non-judgemental group of pro-lifers- there is so much help out there. It sounds like she feels badly enough about herself (but she still has the baby)- please don’t help her to feel worse…..No matter what-please continue to be her loving friend. I think melissa’s point was that what does it matter if you can’t get pregnant. just because a man can’t get pregnant he can’t have a say in the abortion debate? bill clinton and barak obama can’t get pregnant but they still support abortion and women don’t question THAT. I think anyone with any compassion at all whether fertile women, or men or menopausal women should speak out against abortion!!!! I have been VOCALLY pro-life since I was 8. couldn’t have a baby at 8 but that didn’t stop me from speaking out about it. Now I am 28 and a mother…having a baby grow inside me and giving birth to that wonderful little person REAFFIRMED my pro-life convictions!!! I am even MORE involved with crisis pregnancy centers since becoming a mother.
I tell everyone I know that I had my first ultrasound five weeks after conception (7 weeks in med. terms) and my baby had a HEARTBEAT and a head and body and arms and legs!!!!!! I still relive the emotion of that moment sometimes…I started sobbing with joy I was so overcome with love for my baby…the sonographer was very touched. Its an emotional thing when a mom sees her baby for the first time. Even when that baby is only a month or so old and still growing inside her.
Candy Cane–I think abortion is about keeping women in their place. I think most pro-abort males don’t place any value on women. They want women for their sexual pleasure and if the woman gets pregnant…go get an abortion. the woman must subject herself to a risky surgery and also subject herself to the physocological affects of abortion all so the man can have sex and not have to take any responsibility for the results of the act. I am a woman and pro-life. I love that I can give life. A human baby grows in my womb for nine months and then I push that baby into the world….THAT is empowering. NO MAN CAN DO THAT!

Abortion is not “Putting a woman in her place”. Abortion denigrates, depreciates, denies the worth of a woman/ child/family. Women can say No. I know that some women feel “forced” to have an abortion- that they have no choice. I feel for them and hope they seek God’s repentance- He can forgive anything. But let’s be real here- 50 million babies killed in the US,alone- you can’t blame that on men. We women are responsible and accountable for our decisions.

Paula, i said pro-abort males don’t respect women…I know many men that respect women too. but any man that pushes abortion on a woman doesn’t respect her. “putting her in her place” was just using the language that candy cane used.
Abortion is murder but women shouldn’t be jailed because many women don’t realize it’s murder. Many have been told that fetus is some blob. When people are shown pictures of abortion they are shocked. There are women that regret their abortion. Jane Roe ak.a Norma is now a pro-life activists. As far as abortions are concerned some do change. Many of them were just in denial.
I am sharing this account as it demontrates the total disregard that abortion mill owners and workers have for the law as well as a case of police complicity with the criminal acts of mill workers. My husband and I arrived at the abortion mill called New Woman/All Women in Birmingham, AL one recent morning. We had four protest signs with us. I held one sign and we placed the other three near where we were standing on the patch of ground in front of the trees and shrubs. The sign I held read “ABORTION = RACISM http://WWW.BLACKGENOCIDE.ORG”
The three signs we placed on the ground read:
“WOMEN KILLED BY LEGAL ABORTION (with a list of names underneath)”
“THE ABORTION INDUSTRY IS REPRODUCTIVE RACISM”
“ABORTION HURTS WOMEN AND MINORITIES”
On site with us were three sidewalk counselors who also had protest signs. There were two clinic escorts standing in front of the abortion facility who saw us arrive and set up our signs. One was a woman who is there most Saturdays named Carol. One was a young woman whom we had not seen before. As we prayed quietly, both escorts shouted at the sidewalk counselors whenever they tried to talk to clients entering and leaving the facility. Carol repeatedly shouted “Christian bully!” and the young woman also made a number of anti-Christian remarks. Carol has always shouted anti-Christian remarks, such as “Christian bully!’ and “Kick’em when they’re down, that’s what Christians do!” in the ten months that we have been going to the abortion facility. We have clips of her doing this on video. Carol and the young woman were also dancing mockingly to the radio which is always played loudly whenever anyone comes the the facility to pray or counsel. Once the young woman purposely bent over with her back to the make counselor as he tried to share the gospel with her. She was wearing very short pants, so it was clearly meant to be a lewd gesture.
Meanwhile a young man who works at the restaurant which across the street from the abortion mill, was harrassing us incessantly and making anti-Christian and anti-Catholic comments. He often stood next to the escorts and joined them in mocking us. He accused the male counselor of being a homosexual and “crazy” as well as other insulting comments.
After we finished our praying (an hour or so), we stepped away from our signs and prayed over one of the sidewalk counselors who is ill. As we prayed the escorts made mocking comments about what we were doing. Immediately after we finished doing this, the young woman ran accross the street and grabbed the sign which read, “THE ABORTION INDUSTRY IS REPRODUCTIVE RACISM” and threw it into the trash can located in the patio of Al’s Restaurant. I and several sidewalk counselors told her to stop as the sign belonged to me. She ignored us and then grabbed the sign which read “ABORTION HURTS WOMEN AND MINORITIES” and bent it and threw it into the trash can. As she was doing this, we repeated told told her not to and that the signs belonged to us. She was smiling as she performed these actions and made comments to the effect of we had no right to have these signs up and that it was her business to discard them. The young male restaurant employee told the escort that he would tell the police that the wind was responsible for blowing my signs into the garbage can (!) even though he saw along with everybody else that she was the guilty party.
I immediately dialed 911 and explained to the dispatcher what was happening. The escort then ran back accross the street to the abortion facility. She was rewarded with cheers and a big hug from Carol for commiting this criminal act. The perpetrator saw me with my cell phone and grabbed her purse and sat behind the giant black and red curtain that was set up in front of the building every Saturday to block the view of the sidewalk counselors.
About 10 minutes later, a police vehicle arrived. I waved at the officer and he slowed down in front of us. I only managed to tell him that the escort had taken my signs and thrown them away, and he answered something like, “Okay, I’ll be right there” and then to our surprise, pulled into the parking lot of the abortion facility. He remained parked in their lot as he spoke with the young woman. The the owner of the abortion facility, Diane, who has a long history of bribing local officials and is a fomer wife of a police chief, came out of the building and spoke with the officer. About ten minutes later, the escort walked over to the edge of the sidewalk facing us, and triumphantly waving her hands over her head and smiling, shouted at us, “I’m not going anywhere!” and something to the effect of, “If they’re on the ground, its okay!”
Then Diane came over to the edge of the sidewalk and also shouted at us, “”If they’re on the ground, its okay!” The young woman went back to the police car and was leaning into the window as she chatted with the officer, who had not left his vehicle. We waited another ten minutes. Still the officer did not come over to take a report from me. Realizing the officer wasn’t going to talk to us, my husband and I picked up our things and left. A we drove by the abortion facility, we heard the escort, who was still standing next to the police car, shout at us “Bye bye!” in a sarcastic, mocking voice.
When we came home, I called the police station and asked to speak with a sargeant. I explained to him what had taken place. He took my name and phone number and told me that he would get back to me when he found out who the officer in question was. I waited all afternoon and did not hear anything. I called the station again and spoke with a different sargeant. He informed me that I needed to come down to the station and file a report, which I did that day. The officer who took my report asked me if the officer at the scene of the crime spoke with me after speaking with the people at the abortion facility, and I told her he had not.
As a result of the morning’s events I felt physically sick all day as well as the next and could barely eat. I also slept only a couple of hours. My husband was also quite angry and upset that our basic rights were violated and trampled upon.
What is noteworthy is that I had just created the two signs that were thrown away. We had only brought them to the abortion site on two previous occasions. The signs we had brought previously for several months made no reference to racism. There were also other signs that were on the ground that the escort did not choose to throw away. If it is merely a coincidence that she only chose to throw away the racism signs, I cannot say. But as I am a woman of color and the signs referenced racism it concerns me that I and my signs were targeted.
Also of note is that I was told by Eleanor that the police officer who arrived on the scene is pro-abortion. She was not surprised that he acted in the way he did.
There has been an increasing trend of illegal actions by Carol in the past several months. We witnessed two occasions where Carol ran across the street when a counselor was trying to talk to a couple considering abortion. Both times the people were outside the bubble zone - they were in fact on our side of the street. Carol used her body to create a barrier between the counselor and the couple, all the while shouting that the counselor was breaking the law. On another occasion Carol followed a young man (whose girlfriend/wife was inside the abortion facility) across the street as he entered Al’s restaurant. She was making sure that no one on our side of the street talked to him or gave him literature. She talked and laughed with him to distract him and made dismissive gestures towards us. Again, violating our free speech rights.
I am still waiting to hear from someone at the police station.
Pam- what a horrible experience! What city was this in? I have not been active for a few months due to health problems, but we always video- tape everything. Video recording is perfectly legal, and it’s a great way to protect yourself and have proof that these events occur, sadly. And they help out tremendously in court cases. There are also small tape recorders that will fit in your jeans pocket, BTW. Please, tape everything! And there are many pro-life lawyers who love cases like this. Pro-lifers sue now- it’s a must. Too many pro-aborts equate pro-life with passivity. Please protect yourself in the future. Don’t give up- you are desperately needed. I never thought I would say this, as a pro-lifer, but USE PROTECTION! God Bless You!

There are people who have been coming to this facility for twenty years and they have been through far worse. Par for the course! I love my animals, but the babies come first. A girlfriend (and you know who you are) taught me that when groups solicite for certain causes (and we know that they support abortion)- I send the envelope back, with an aborted baby picture enclosed.

Obama asks too much of Christian voters. He said, “Well, the first thing I’d do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” That is asking a lot to accept for a practicing Catholic or any believing Christian.
I agree with what many Catholic leaders are saying about the situation we are in. “If we are to take Obama at his word, his first priority as president would be to serve an early death sentence on millions of unborn Americans,” said a prominent American Catholic.
Another Catholic said, “In one hand Obama offers us lower income taxes but in the other hand he asks for the blood of innocent aborted children. Obama supports fatal neglect of lives and he asks too much of devout Christian voters — in exchange for giving them generous tax deductions - he imposes the death sentence on children before they are born.”
I read on a blog, “In the past, Obama voted against an infant protection bill which required that a baby who survived an unsuccessful abortion be cared for and not be put aside to die with no medical assistance. Obama voted against what was called the Induced Infant Liability Act and twice helped kill it in committee. This bill would have protected miracle babies that somehow survived late term abortions.”
Obama supported partial birth abortions for many years and he does not plan to change his position if he becomes president. In the upcoming election he is asking voters to affirm his stand on live birth abortions that a majority of Americans still find repulsive and morally wrong.
The 47% support in surveys which Obama is getting in spite of his extreme pro-abortion positions is proof of the numbing of our nation’s moral conscience. Lots of Americans have gone to pot morally speaking!
Let me restate again the following words which Obama gets away with and which give strong evidence that the American empire is in moral decline! “The first thing I’d do as president,” Obama told a cheering audience, “is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” What a terrible thing to say that you would do “first thing” as president of the United States.
I read on a Catholic blog: “A significant new attack on innocent human life by an Obama administration is likely to send us into a moral free fall that would rival any financial free fall. The price for such a “walk over the cliff” is millions more human lives lost for many more years to come.”
Let’s vote our Christian/Catholic consciences on election day and not vote strictly on get rich quick economic pocketbook issues. Let’s affirm together that all true Christians are opposed to abortions except when an abortion is an unintended result during a necessary operation to save the life of the mother. However, we must add that in history, down through the ages, many mothers did give up their lives to save their new born children.
Obama has stated he needs to raise ALL TAXES (including income taxes) and reinstate old taxes that haven’t been used in years….so I don’t know where you got your info but Obama is pro-TAX and has said he wants to redistribute wealth to black Americans…( I think if you work for your money you should get to keep it, and you shouldn’t get someone else’s money no matter what your skin color. If you work hard and achieve success you shouldn’t be punished). He is also the BIGGEST pro-abort ever which is interesting since abortion kils more blacks each year than all street crimes do. Obama hates this country, he refuses to salute the flag (at least he used to before he started running for pres) He states in his one book that he hates white people and hates Israel…how exactly is he unifying with all his prejudices? The Ohio Dept. of Health has recently revoked the license of MARTIN HASKELL, PIONEER AND PROMOTER OF PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION. He formerly testified about partial birth abortion and jokingly said the baby helps him with the abortion by curling his little fingers around the deadly instruments. He had no qualms about describing the method he devised to pull the baby out, stab his head and suck his brains out. This is one evil man! Haskell has not been able to comply with Ohio requirements to be able to transfer an injured mother to a hospital because he IS NOT AN OB-GYN! Despite his license being revoked, his facility IS STILL OPERATING ILLEGALLY! His clinic performs 2600 abortions a year. As a committed late term abortionist who is appears proud of his accomplishments, why has the law not stepped in to end this operation?

Ohio Director of Health, Alan Jackson revoked Haskell’s facility license earlier this month but District Judge Algenon Marbley issued a temporary restraining order to keep it open for the women who need services which have been started in the abortion process. At least, this was the excuse which I perceived. Haskell’s abortion mill will remain open until March 7 or 8 when a hearing will be held in Judge Marbley’s court. Yes, there are no words to describe this man’s cruelty as he jokes about how the little babies wrap their arms and legs around his hand in a reflex action which unwittingly keeps them steady while he reaches in with his blunt metzenbaum scissors to open up their scalp and expel their brains. He developed the partial birth abortion method which is now illegal, but who knows what goes on behind closed doors. His method now he probably claims is to kill them and dismember them,piece by piece.
I repeat, who knows what goes on behind closed doors? And-WHY HAS HE BEEN ALLOWED TO OPERATE THIS DEATH CAMP FOR SO LONG WITHOUT HAVING HOSPITAL BACKUP? I trust all of the pro-lifers will be there and they need our prayers! MARTIN HASKELL NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN! THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR HIS ILLEGAL PRACTICE TO CONTINUE! If a woman delivered a live child outside of an abortion clinic, let’s say in her home, and allowed it to die and/or disposed of it she WOULD be held accountable and everyone would think she was a terrible person and it would make the news, and she would probably serve jail time. “Mother delivers child and throws it in dumpster.” I think it must be the location of the murder, and I say this sarcastically, as legally women are allowed to partake of the killing of their child in a clinic, but not anywhere else! Yes, since abortion is legal, the women are not murderers. We have been conditioned to believe if something happens in a medical setting, it is ok. What can we do to prevent a mother from thinking she must get rid of her baby? Any woman who is pregnant deserves support. Whenever I see a pregnant mom I take time to give positive reinforcement to her, such as, “This is the best time of your life, you have a precious baby coming, enjoy every minute,” or “You are so fortunate to be having a new baby!” We never know what situation the mom is in so if we can give her some encouragement, it may mean the difference between life and death for her child. Ask her if she needs anything as you maybe have baby items or you know where she can get them free. Offer any assistance which you think she may need! Too many young girls feel alone and maybe have no one to guide and love them through their pregnancy. We have so many opportunities to help people without realizing it. Your words and assistance could save a life!

Ohio has now passed a bill which will go into effect in app. 90 days where mothers must be offered a chance to view their baby’s ultrasound and also have the ultrasound picture. Now, instead of hiding the ultrasound, moms must be allowed to see their child, and hopefully realize the baby they are about to kill is a real living, moving developed baby! Hopefully we will see more mothers walk out of those clinics with their babies still in their wombs!

But what about if the baby had been aborted at a younger age.. say 6 weeks? When the baby is this young, doctors use the Saline Method, where they inject a salty saline solution into the mother’s womb. You would think it would just poison the baby, but it actually burns it to death. Even though the baby is so young, on ultrasounds of the abortion, the fetus is seen pulling away from the poison as it is injected.. obviously wanting to stay alive.(The baby is intelligent enough to move away from the pain..but the child can’t escape it)
Think about that before you say that unborn children can’t feel pain.

i have a 2months old son… and all i could do was hold him all through the night. The image in my head is repeating and i decided..I wanna do somehting about abortions but i have no clue where to start.. Abortion is so wrong.. that is a life.. it has a heartbeat skin and bones.. And i posted a blog.. stating that for every girl that has had an abortion should get jail time.. As a murderer.. It is my opinion.. What can i do and how?? i need direction.. I believe every child should have a fair chance at life whether or not it has something medically wrong with it….I wanna do something.. i read all these stories and see all these images and i feel so helpless.. i would take in every child in the world from abortion if i knew that it would live.. But i cant.. So help me find something to help …. i live in illinois and as far as i know it is illigal.. i think.. the clinics in springfield the paper they hand to you after you find out your pregnant has a list or abortion clinics and the closest one is in granit city.. My heart gos out to all you mothers that have had the thought of abortion Just think about it…Wait till u hear the heartbeat and see your child.. this is a gift from God you dont have the choice to destroy it.. What you can do to stop abortion-
1. Read up on the issues and write and e-mail your
congressmen/representatives.
2. Read all of Operation Rescue’s material and help
them in their efforts.
3. Volunteer at your local crisis pregnancy center.
4. Encourage pregnant moms-
A. Help with baby clothes and necessities.
B Go to Lamaze class with someone needing partner
C. Direct moms in need to resources
D. Offer to help with other children if mom needs help
5. Go to abortion clinics on their killing days and offer
counseling and support for mothers who are going
into these death chambers. Show the love God would
want us to demonstrate in these circumstances.

The same reason why Saddam Hussein got away with gassing the Kurds.
We all know this was murder, but it was a largely accepted practice. Nobody was going to prosecute them for it…until fate caught up with them and they reaped what they sowed.

Bethany& Bill- only IMHO, but I have been in pro-life a long time. I believe that the reason men are our pro-life leaders is Biblical. Men have always been called to lead, women to support. NO- this does not mean that women are or can be weaklings. We can be and are very strong in the movement, but truly our leaders are all men- Troy (with strong Cheryl at his side), Joe and Eric Schiedler (with their strong wives along side) , Matt T. (again, with his wife along side), the list is endless. The only woman I know who leads the battle , and please forgive me if I have forgotten others- is Judie Brown of A.L.L. I wish that we did not have this battle. What has happened to the maternal instincts of women? This question has been posed forever. I ,personally, would take a bullet for my sons, and I don’t understand how 50 million babies later- women don’t feel the same. Have we lost our maternal instinct, our maternal drive? Bill-I don’t think it has anything to do w/ legislation -look at Kansas and it’s Governor for example. Some of the biggest pro-aborts ,sadly are women. Lord, Have Mercy!

have you been active in pro-life activities? I hope that I do not come across as a “know -it-all “, because nothing is further from the truth. But I have been ACTIVELY involved, for well over 20 yrs. Kansas is a great example-look at your Governor, and look at the pro-life men who are actively working to bring her, and her pro-abort cohorts to justice. How about the largest provider of abortion in the U.S.- is it not PP, run by Ms.
Richards? And how about the 50 million women ,who have killed their unborn? I have been on “Truth Tours” with almost all of our defenders for the voiceless, and it is the men who drive the Trucks, provide the signs, etc.

theses #’s are coming from, and the sources. Pro-life legislators/ Supreme Court Justices: Alito, Roberts, Scalia, -all men. Pro-choice- Ruth Bader-Ginsberg, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Diane Feinstein-all women. Paula , you forgot to include: Gregg Cunningham and Mark Harrington of G.A.P, Father Pavone, Bryan Kemper and Stand True,etc. A side bar-prayer is the greatest pro-life activity that we can do. Thank God, however, for the truth trucks, the graphic signs , prayer warriors, sidewalk counselors- all who have the courage to do what they do.

i need help from someone. a girl i know has been pregnant three times now. she purposely miscarriaged the first time, the second time she had twins and now shes trying to do it again. shes drinking, smoking pot, and doing other things to purposely get rid of this baby as well. shes a horrible person in my eyes and she wont listen to any one. we need someone to send her a message. a wake up call. someone to show her how precious life is. thank you.

Brittany- sounds like you are a good friend, and that is what she is needing now. Seeing her as “a horrible person” is not going to get her the help that she needs.
As Fr. Pavone says”Love them both”. I don’t know what city you are in, but every city I know of, has a 24 hr. emergency crisis line- available through Crisis Pregnancy Centers. Please call one. Take your friend for an ultrasound- over 80% of women who have an US, keep their babies. There are some great links on OR’s home page, along with others, such as Abortion.NO, etc.PLAL (Pro Life Action League) is another great , non-judgemental group of pro-lifers- there is so much help out there. It sounds like she feels badly enough about herself (but she still has the baby)- please don’t help her to feel worse…..No matter what-please continue to be her loving friend. I think melissa’s point was that what does it matter if you can’t get pregnant. just because a man can’t get pregnant he can’t have a say in the abortion debate? bill clinton and barak obama can’t get pregnant but they still support abortion and women don’t question THAT. I think anyone with any compassion at all whether fertile women, or men or menopausal women should speak out against abortion!!!! I have been VOCALLY pro-life since I was 8. couldn’t have a baby at 8 but that didn’t stop me from speaking out about it. Now I am 28 and a mother…having a baby grow inside me and giving birth to that wonderful little person REAFFIRMED my pro-life convictions!!! I am even MORE involved with crisis pregnancy centers since becoming a mother.
I tell everyone I know that I had my first ultrasound five weeks after conception (7 weeks in med. terms) and my baby had a HEARTBEAT and a head and body and arms and legs!!!!!! I still relive the emotion of that moment sometimes…I started sobbing with joy I was so overcome with love for my baby…the sonographer was very touched. Its an emotional thing when a mom sees her baby for the first time. Even when that baby is only a month or so old and still growing inside her.

They want women for their sexual pleasure and if the woman gets pregnant…go get an abortion. the woman must subject herself to a risky surgery and also subject herself to the physocological affects of abortion all so the man can have sex and not have to take any responsibility for the results of the act. I am a woman and pro-life. I love that I can give life. A human baby grows in my womb for nine months and then I push that baby into the world….THAT is empowering. NO MAN CAN DO THAT!

Abortion is not “Putting a woman in her place”. Abortion denigrates, depreciates, denies the worth of a woman/ child/family. Women can say No. I know that some women feel “forced” to have an abortion- that they have no choice. I feel for them and hope they seek God’s repentance- He can forgive anything. I can’t speak for all pro-lifers, but I believe that we are all made in the image and likeness of God, and that life begins at conception.That’s a really elementary statement but maybe it will help “Candy”. Paula, i said pro-abort males don’t respect women…I know many men that respect women too. but any man that pushes abortion on a woman doesn’t respect her. “putting her in her place” was just using the language that candy cane used.

Abortion is murder but women shouldn’t be jailed because many women don’t realize it’s murder. Many have been told that fetus is some blob. When people are shown pictures of abortion they are shocked. There are women that regret their abortion. Jane Roe ak.a Norma is now a pro-life activists. As far as abortions are concerned some do change. Many of them were just in denial.

I am sharing this account as it demontrates the total disregard that abortion mill owners and workers have for the law as well as a case of police complicity with the criminal acts of mill workers. My husband and I arrived at the abortion mill called New Woman/All Women in Birmingham, AL one recent morning. We had four protest signs with us. I held one sign and we placed the other three near where we were standing on the patch of ground in front of the trees and shrubs. The sign I held read “ABORTION = RACISM http://WWW.BLACKGENOCIDE.ORG”
The three signs we placed on the ground read:
“WOMEN KILLED BY LEGAL ABORTION (with a list of names underneath)”
“THE ABORTION INDUSTRY IS REPRODUCTIVE RACISM”
“ABORTION HURTS WOMEN AND MINORITIES”
On site with us were three sidewalk counselors who also had protest signs. There were two clinic escorts standing in front of the abortion facility who saw us arrive and set up our signs. One was a woman who is there most Saturdays named Carol. One was a young woman whom we had not seen before. As we prayed quietly, both escorts shouted at the sidewalk counselors whenever they tried to talk to clients entering and leaving the facility. Carol repeatedly shouted “Christian bully!” and the young woman also made a number of anti-Christian remarks. Carol has always shouted anti-Christian remarks, such as “Christian bully!’ and “Kick’em when they’re down, that’s what Christians do!” in the ten months that we have been going to the abortion facility. We have clips of her doing this on video. Carol and the young woman were also dancing mockingly to the radio which is always played loudly whenever anyone comes the the facility to pray or counsel. Once the young woman purposely bent over with her back to the make counselor as he tried to share the gospel with her. She was wearing very short pants, so it was clearly meant to be a lewd gesture.
Meanwhile a young man who works at the restaurant which across the street from the abortion mill, was harrassing us incessantly and making anti-Christian and anti-Catholic comments. He often stood next to the escorts and joined them in mocking us. He accused the male counselor of being a homosexual and “crazy” as well as other insulting comments.
After we finished our praying (an hour or so), we stepped away from our signs and prayed over one of the sidewalk counselors who is ill. As we prayed the escorts made mocking comments about what we were doing. Immediately after we finished doing this, the young woman ran accross the street and grabbed the sign which read, “THE ABORTION INDUSTRY IS REPRODUCTIVE RACISM” and threw it into the trash can located in the patio of Al’s Restaurant. I and several sidewalk counselors told her to stop as the sign belonged to me. She ignored us and then grabbed the sign which read “ABORTION HURTS WOMEN AND MINORITIES” and bent it and threw it into the trash can. As she was doing this, we repeated told told her not to and that the signs belonged to us. She was smiling as she performed these actions and made comments to the effect of we had no right to have these signs up and that it was her business to discard them. The young male restaurant employee told the escort that he would tell the police that the wind was responsible for blowing my signs into the garbage can (!) even though he saw along with everybody else that she was the guilty party.
I immediately dialed 911 and explained to the dispatcher what was happening. The escort then ran back accross the street to the abortion facility. She was rewarded with cheers and a big hug from Carol for commiting this criminal act. The perpetrator saw me with my cell phone and grabbed her purse and sat behind the giant black and red curtain that was set up in front of the building every Saturday to block the view of the sidewalk counselors.
About 10 minutes later, a police vehicle arrived. I waved at the officer and he slowed down in front of us. I only managed to tell him that the escort had taken my signs and thrown them away, and he answered something like, “Okay, I’ll be right there” and then to our surprise, pulled into the parking lot of the abortion facility. He remained parked in their lot as he spoke with the young woman. The the owner of the abortion facility, Diane, who has a long history of bribing local officials and is a fomer wife of a police chief, came out of the building and spoke with the officer. About ten minutes later, the escort walked over to the edge of the sidewalk facing us, and triumphantly waving her hands over her head and smiling, shouted at us, “I’m not going anywhere!” and something to the effect of, “If they’re on the ground, its okay!”
Then Diane came over to the edge of the sidewalk and also shouted at us, “”If they’re on the ground, its okay!” The young woman went back to the police car and was leaning into the window as she chatted with the officer, who had not left his vehicle. We waited another ten minutes. Still the officer did not come over to take a report from me. Realizing the officer wasn’t going to talk to us, my husband and I picked up our things and left. A we drove by the abortion facility, we heard the escort, who was still standing next to the police car, shout at us “Bye bye!” in a sarcastic, mocking voice.
When we came home, I called the police station and asked to speak with a sargeant. I explained to him what had taken place. He took my name and phone number and told me that he would get back to me when he found out who the officer in question was. I waited all afternoon and did not hear anything. I called the station again and spoke with a different sargeant. He informed me that I needed to come down to the station and file a report, which I did that day. The officer who took my report asked me if the officer at the scene of the crime spoke with me after speaking with the people at the abortion facility, and I told her he had not.
As a result of the morning’s events I felt physically sick all day as well as the next and could barely eat. I also slept only a couple of hours. My husband was also quite angry and upset that our basic rights were violated and trampled upon.
What is noteworthy is that I had just created the two signs that were thrown away. We had only brought them to the abortion site on two previous occasions. The signs we had brought previously for several months made no reference to racism. There were also other signs that were on the ground that the escort did not choose to throw away. If it is merely a coincidence that she only chose to throw away the racism signs, I cannot say. But as I am a woman of color and the signs referenced racism it concerns me that I and my signs were targeted.
Also of note is that I was told by Eleanor that the police officer who arrived on the scene is pro-abortion. She was not surprised that he acted in the way he did.
There has been an increasing trend of illegal actions by Carol in the past several months. We witnessed two occasions where Carol ran across the street when a counselor was trying to talk to a couple considering abortion. Both times the people were outside the bubble zone - they were in fact on our side of the street. Carol used her body to create a barrier between the counselor and the couple, all the while shouting that the counselor was breaking the law. On another occasion Carol followed a young man (whose girlfriend/wife was inside the abortion facility) across the street as he entered Al’s restaurant. She was making sure that no one on our side of the street talked to him or gave him literature. She talked and laughed with him to distract him and made dismissive gestures towards us. Again, violating our free speech rights.
I am still waiting to hear from someone at the police station.

Pam- what a horrible experience! What city was this in? I have not been active for a few months due to health problems, but we always video- tape everything. Video recording is perfectly legal, and it’s a great way to protect yourself and have proof that these events occur, sadly. And they help out tremendously in court cases. There are also small tape recorders that will fit in your jeans pocket, BTW. Please, tape everything! And there are many pro-life lawyers who love cases like this. Pro-lifers sue now- it’s a must. Too many pro-aborts equate pro-life with passivity. Please protect yourself in the future. Don’t give up- you are desperately needed. I never thought I would say this, as a pro-lifer, but USE PROTECTION! God Bless You!

Thanks Paula and Sarah. I will not give up. Yes, there are some great pro-life people in this town! There are people who have been coming to this facility for twenty years and they have been through far worse. Par for the course! I did convey the message to the police to be more cooperative next time. Today we were greeted by a new officer who told us that he would be around to make sure things were okay. I am now praying for the police to have a conversion as well!

Wanda Franz is the leader of the largest prolife organization in the country, the National Right to Life organization in Washington DC. Abortion is a gender neutral issue. Good fathers feel a strong desire to protect their own kids.

Sarah, I agree that policemen should uphold the law, and they seem to always forget the one about it being illegal to murder. An unborn child is a person, therefore they should realize, as we all should, that it is illegal to murder them.
Pam, never give up. I won’t either. There must be some pro life policemen out there somewhere.

If a woman going into an abortion clinic (who is with child) is hit by a drunk driver and the woman and child die, the drunk driver is charged with two murders (in most states), but an abortionist who tears a child limb from limb is a “hero who saves women’s lives). Over 90 percent of abortions are performed just for convenience and the others still aren’t justified. Rape doesn’t justify child-killing, the baby is still half yours. Ever thought of it like that?

I love my animals, but the babies come first. A girlfriend (and you know who you are) taught me that when groups solicite for certain causes (and we know that they support abortion)- I send the envelope back, with an aborted baby picture enclosed.
It boggles the mind ,how these groups can care for the animals, the environment, etc. but want to kill our babies. These tree-huggers are keeping our environment clean, for who exactly?

Obama asks too much of Christian voters. He said, “Well, the first thing I’d do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” That is asking a lot to accept for a practicing Catholic or any believing Christian.
I agree with what many Catholic leaders are saying about the situation we are in. “If we are to take Obama at his word, his first priority as president would be to serve an early death sentence on millions of unborn Americans,” said a prominent American Catholic.
Another Catholic said, “In one hand Obama offers us lower income taxes but in the other hand he asks for the blood of innocent aborted children. Obama supports fatal neglect of lives and he asks too much of devout Christian voters — in exchange for giving them generous tax deductions - he imposes the death sentence on children before they are born.”
I read on a blog, “In the past, Obama voted against an infant protection bill which required that a baby who survived an unsuccessful abortion be cared for and not be put aside to die with no medical assistance. Obama voted against what was called the Induced Infant Liability Act and twice helped kill it in committee. This bill would have protected miracle babies that somehow survived late term abortions.”
Obama supported partial birth abortions for many years and he does not plan to change his position if he becomes president. In the upcoming election he is asking voters to affirm his stand on live birth abortions that a majority of Americans still find repulsive and morally wrong.
The 47% support in surveys which Obama is getting in spite of his extreme pro-abortion positions is proof of the numbing of our nation’s moral conscience. Lots of Americans have gone to pot morally speaking!
Let me restate again the following words which Obama gets away with and which give strong evidence that the American empire is in moral decline! “The first thing I’d do as president,” Obama told a cheering audience, “is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That’s the first thing that I’d do.” What a terrible thing to say that you would do “first thing” as president of the United States.
I read on a Catholic blog: “A significant new attack on innocent human life by an Obama administration is likely to send us into a moral free fall that would rival any financial free fall. The price for such a “walk over the cliff” is millions more human lives lost for many more years to come.”
Let’s vote our Christian/Catholic consciences on election day and not vote strictly on get rich quick economic pocketbook issues. Let’s affirm together that all true Christians are opposed to abortions except when an abortion is an unintended result during a necessary operation to save the life of the mother. However, we must add that in history, down through the ages, many mothers did give up their lives to save their new born children.

Obama has stated he needs to raise ALL TAXES (including income taxes) and reinstate old taxes that haven’t been used in years….so I don’t know where you got your info but Obama is pro-TAX and has said he wants to redistribute wealth to black Americans…( I think if you work for your money you should get to keep it, and you shouldn’t get someone else’s money no matter what your skin color. If you work hard and achieve success you shouldn’t be punished). He is also the BIGGEST pro-abort ever which is interesting since abortion kils more blacks each year than all street crimes do. Obama hates this country, he refuses to salute the flag (at least he used to before he started running for pres) He states in his one book that he hates white people and hates Israel…how exactly is he unifying with all his prejudices? He is evil through and through. You have to look through his suave speech delivery and really listen to what he is saying..
