The first opens the Lamb's book of life...if your name is not written in there (if you have not trusted the Lamb--Christ you are not saved) you will be cast into Gehenna...the lake of fire--HELL. the second hearing is when the books (plural) is opened and those who never trusted Christ for salvation are judged according to every evil deed of their lives so that their level of suffering in hell is determined...don't you think that ripping arms and legs off little unborn babies qualifies for you for a spot in hell right next to Hitler?
