They couldn’t get Capone for all of the murders he committed, but they got him on tax evasion. Maybe similar tactics need to be used to get rid of these murderers.

The conviction of Tiller is important as it would provide an example for others. Doctors would be less inclined to participate in offering abortion services. Shedding light on this situation paves the way. With Tiller and his operation exposed, a new slant on abortion will take place. The legal issues will become more complicated and it will become more difficult to hire qualified staff. Noone wants to get sued. With the publicity connected to Tiller’s late term abortion clinic, it will become more important to provide adequate knowledge to young women when educators and parents see this as a problem which needs to be seriously addressed. As it now stands, it is too simple for those involved to just say, “Get an abortion!” This prosecution of Tiller is a step forward in protecting the rights of the unborn.

I find it interesting that The Graphite is pro-life but is also pro-death penalty. That seems very contradictory to me.

If I was the woman, I would be pretty pissed off at the doctor who mis-diagnosed my unborn baby with dwarfism and water on the brain and whatever other anomalies he said the child had. This is another reason why people should always get a second opinion before doing something drastic. Doctors make mistakes just like other people do. Doctors are not infallible. But this doctor might need to be investigated. How many other women has he sent to Tiller? He probably gets commission for each one!

Christians do have an arsenal of imprecatory Scriptures we can pray ( Psalms 5,7, 9,10,11, etc). Let’s beseech all mighty God to act on behalf of the unborn.

“So what?”

Well, sadly, the court won’t allow the death penalty for this Mengele-style mass murderer — the worst he’ll get is 19 years of gov’t-funded satellite TV, library, Internet, fitness center, on top of the free room & board, free medical & dental, all at the expense of the families of the victims. BUT, at least he won’t be murdering hundreds more innocent children for the years to come.

I think we see why the abortion clinics would like to see the sidewalk counselors disappear. How many other babies, who could have been born healthy, were aborted? With 50 million babies killed since 1973, and their possible children and granchildren that may have been born, we may have killed off 150 million potential healthy citizens of our nation. What a tragedy?
