We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support for Troy and this ministry that we have received, both through e-mails and phone calls.

We have made it a personal and ministry policy never to attack another pro-lifer in public. While we appreciate the sentiments posted above, we do not want this comments page to become a forum for negative comments about other pro-lifers and ministries that could be hurtful to the cause. Because we do not want to be accused of sinking to their level, we have decided to close comments on this post.

We wish to sincerely thank you all for your support. Please keep praying for us as we strive to stay focused on our Savior and on our work. The battle is hot, and we need your prayers to stand fast against the attacks of the Enemy.

Actually,Keith Tucci took over O.R. in the early 90′s.
He had a short tenure, then it was handed over to Flip, who then changed the name to Operation Save America, to avoid lawsuits.

What bothers me the most about his whole thing, there has been some major breakthroughs bringing all the corruption in Kansas to light. We may be on the heels of some victory, and along comes Randall Terry and his massive EGO, all orchestrated by the devil himself . Hopefully, the gnat straining will stop soon, repentance and restoration will come, and pursue the weighter matters of the law like justice and mercy.

This isn’t about us this is all about HIM! If not,we are all idolaters.

After reading the above blogs, I had to do my own investigation. BTW- my computer is showing a tracking cookie, which has never occurred while reading your stories. Anyway, I was sickened by what I have read about Mr. Terry and his lawsuit. What really tells all, as far as I am concerned, were his comments about his own son, Jamiel in beliefnet.com. Any parent who can speak such horrible things publically about their own child, can do ANYTHING! Has he no morals, no shame, no loyalty ?Troy- I like others, will continue to pray for you personally, and I applaude you for all the victories that are yours, , but come from God. I will also pray for the soul and repentance of Mr. Terry.

Troy- glad to see all this support! Terry started this whole mess which the pro-life movement ,and OR does not need. I hope that he did not think that we would be quiet. Terry is total PRIDE and GREED. Yes, he started OR (with a handwritten Business certificate from N.Y.). He abandoned it ,and all his friends when he was hit with lawsuits. He settled out of court w/ NOW ,declared bancruptcy, and began an unsuccessful life in country music and politics (he was a Rep. candidate for the Fla. State Senate in 2006) . Jael summed it up well, as did so many. Tobra- grat comment about Flip! He made a great comment to Steve Wetzel on Jan. 11, 2007-see http://www.mttu.com.I quote” he changed the name of OR to OSA because of the large # of lawsuits filed against OR and a name change was the way out of these lawsuits”. What a stand up guy! As Steve quotes ” Troy never stole the OR name. It was ABANDONED by Flip.” I want to know what these 2 men have ever done to affect positive change in Kansas? Randy -go back to country music. Flip- go “storm the gates of hell at Walmart” as you put it. Please leave Troy and OR to finish the race that is in front of him. You go, Troy!

Not sure you have all your facts straight, but one thing is sure: Randall wants the honor AND the money. Everything he has tried after bailing out of OR over 15 years ago has not worked out very well for him. OR was always a cash cow for him as well as a stroke to his very massive ego.

I don’t know of anyone who works as hard every day to stop abortion as Troy and his staff (who I have known for years). They certainly don’t deserve any of this. OR wouldn’t be what it is today without them.

Hold you head up and keep going, Troy. Our prayers are with you!

Ok, as a Centrist, I can see both sides of this issue. Let me try to decipher both sides of this picture:

Randall Terry registered the name “Operation Rescue” with the Patent and Trademarks Office in Washington D.C. This gave him the rights to the name “Operation Rescue.”

Randall Terry then gave the helm to Troy Newman.

Was Randall Terry giving up rights to the name at that time? I believe that is what this case will hinge on.

Now then, Randall Terry has been “out of the picture” until now. Why is this?

Randall Terry was “at the helm” when that nutcase shot George Tiller in both arms. That didn’t make OR look very good, even though OR had nothing to do with this psycho.

Shortly thereafter, Randall Terry gave it up to Troy Newman.

Troy Newman “took the ball” from “deep in enemy territory to first and goal at the five.”

Now, Randall Terry is saying “WTF???”

Terry says he wants the honor! Randall Terry wants the honor of Troy Newman taking the ball from deep inside enemy 5 and running in a touchdown!!

This is why we haven’t heard from Terry until now.

UGH!!!! This reminds me of the split in my church when my pastor started to steal funds….thats what it was and got a big head and it took away from our church being the salt of the earth that it should have been! HELLO!!!!!! BABIES ARE DYING while Randall Terry is struggling to be king..WHO CARES????? Men of humility will be used of God, not men of huge egos. To spend years fighting the culture of death and then to turn around and tear down all your work with your own hands…it makes no sense to me. To fight against the immorality in our culture which directly leads to abortion and then to become enslaved to it yourself….I will pray for him. If we do not walk with God it could happen to any of us. The Devil is a lion, seeking whom he may devour.

For all us old timers who were involved with O.R. starting in the late 1980′s, allow me to share some facts with you.

1) Randall Terry imobilized thousands of Christians to rescue babies from death. 70,000 plus arrests were made.

2) Randall Terry would often lead the troops to battle, then abandoned them in jail, as he and other “leaders” would get bail and fly back home

3) Randall Terry became full of pride and arrogancy ( and other indiscretions) which ultimately led to his discipline by his former pastor Dan Little

4) Randall Terry rejected all sound biblical advice. Countless leaders spoke to him about his ungodly behavior, which he soundly rejected.

5) Randall Terry ultimately left his wife and children and started a new life and family. Randall is an unrepentant adulterer.

6) Randall sent out countless deceptive fund raising letters to his Former supporters, while he pursued a failed country singing career.

7) Randall has lost support by most former O.R. leadership.

8) Randall is a prime example of take heed least ye fall.

9) Flip,who once publically rebuked Randall Terry is now coming to his aid.

In regards to the O.R. name, I would urge you Troy, to give the name back to Randall, and the organization he long ago abandoned. Randall can once again ascend the throne of pride and arrogancy. Flip can be his V.P. Then let the pro-aborts have a field day with their lawsuits.

If pro life leaders want to air their dirty laundry for the world to see, then they get what they deserve.

People who have donated to Operation Rescue will be especially thrilled that R. Terry has opened a financial fiasco and given the government reason to issue subopenas.
Rev. Phillip (Flip) Benham is singing a new tune about Randall Terry now. Flip is appropiately nicknamed.
Am so glad Troy, that these people wrote and signed this letter. I also support you & applaud your work in Kansas.
Terry and Benham’s lies show there involvement in Operation Rescue is about their Lord–King Dollar.
