Well, it’s official Fox News just announced this Saturday night 2/28/09 that Gov. Sebelius has been nominated by President Obama as HHS Secretary. I just emailed the WH to voice my disappointment and made an appeal to the President to reconsider her appointment. I hope everyone will write the WH and their US Senators to voice their concerns about her nomination this weekend. I plan to write to my Senators as well.

Thank you OR for your faithful “watchmen at the gates” vigil that has amassed the documentation to counter any statements of Govenor Sebelius. May the LORD go before you in this “battle,” and may this appointment be thwarted!

Be encouraged everyone: the battle is the LORD’s, and He will strengthen all who “stand” in this time, as is Pastor Hoye in Oakland. Sometimes it takes the visuals of the righteous being prosecuted to “open the eyes” of those who still have the “ability to begin seeing the truth.”

If the electrician is competent and licensed, then he should do his job as contracted and not make political or moral judgments about his employer any more than my plumber should refuse to fix my leaking pipe because I don’t drive a car built by GM.
And when Archbishops or other clergy urge their followers how to vote then they should give up their tax exempt status.

Politicians who support abortion use a litany of slogans to cover themselves: “personally opposed,” “safe, legal, and rare,” “woman’s right to choose,” “pro-choice,” “cannot impose my morality,” etc. None of these slogans demonstrate any logical reasoning.

Is anyone personally opposed to stealing, but thinks its OK anyway? If abortion is safe and legal, why does it need to be rare? Why should a woman have the right to choose to kill her own child? Why is there never any concern about imposing one’s morality when opposing the death penalty?

The Operation Rescue review of the history of actions taken on abortion by Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius proves her statement is nothing but brazen deception.

If you follow the money, records show how much campaign funding she receives from Tiller and the abortion industry. To continue receiving that money, she has proven she will take no action to “ensure that abortions are rare, safe and within the bounds of the law.”

What are the chances this same pattern occurs with most pro-abortion politicians? Well, it is certainly much greater than the chance they are actually committed to making abortion “safe, legal and rare” (as phrased by former President Clinton). Each new slogan is just another brazen lie!
