Kansas City, MO — Operation Rescue President Troy Newman delivered a speech at the Constitutional Party National Convention on Friday afternoon that drew thunderous applause and a standing ovation.
Newman’s speech was titled “Preachers, Politicians, and Pro-life Leaders: Taking the Life Out of the Pro-life Movement.” While it described some of the shortcomings of the movement, the talk overall was one of encouragement and hope that soon decriminalized abortion will come to an end through perseverance and hard work.
“I was very moved at the enthusiastic support I received from the Constitution Party,” said Newman. “They understand that abortion is not just a political issue, but is the most important moral issue of our day. I was honored to be a part of their convention.”

I am a constitutionalist! It is the only TRUE pro-life party!
Mr. Newman,
Yes, I too was one of the Constitution party members who heard what you had to say. Bravo!!!!!
It made me sick when I returned home to Ohio to see that National Right to Life had endorsed McCain. Will they place our Pro Life candidate’ names on their voters guides? NO! NOT NOW! NOT EVER! NRtoL is nothing but an ad hoc committee of the Republican Party. May God help us!
Want to help the Constitution Party promote pro-life candidates?
To begin with, every state needs a statewide meetup, plus one for
every major city. The Meetup organization allows you to have one
basic meetup group, plus two additional groups for the same basic fee.
You may wish to join the National Chuck Baldwin Meetup Group just to
get info and ideas about things you can do. It is free to join.

So lets get started. http://constitutionparty.meetup.com/all/
Find a local meetup near you. The conventional wisdom appears to be
join and start a Constitutional Party Meetup. Put Chuck Baldwin and
the city and state in the name to make it easier to be found.
Keep existing Chuck Baldwin Meetup Groups as they are and convert them
to a Constitution Party Meetup Group after the election.
The Ron Paul movement had over 1800 meetups and over 100,000 members.
It was their meetups that put up over 400,000 yard signs and nearly a
million bumper stickers. Today there are more Ron Paul yard signs and
bumper stickers on cars in your state than there are for the news
media candidate, John McCain.
A tremendous grassroots success story, we can emulate and also recruit
their members. There are currently 80 Constitution Party Meetup groups
and 35 Chuck Baldwin Meetup Groups, with total membership around 6,000.
Almost every day a new group gets started. We are halfway there to
getting our party built. We are waiting on you to do your part.
Forward this info to another conservative.
Thanks, Allen Campbell
