Would any of you know of the number of babies saved by sidewalk counseling? Do the prolife groups keep any records of how many girls they talk out of having abortions? Many, of course, go to the homes for unwed mothers, but if anyone would know the answer to how many babies have been saved I would like to be in touch with them.

To Pro Coice to a point:

You must be living in some kind of dreamland to actually think that any abortion clinic that would hire you as an escort (deathscort) would actually ALLOW you to promote the services of a pro-life clinic. You might do it ONCE, but the minute the abortion clinic found out, you’d be tossed out of there so fast it would make your head spin.

WAKE UP! Abortion clinics are all about MONEY and DEATH TO BABIES. PERIOD. They want as many women in there as possible, and as often as possible. They’re certainly NOT going to stand for you (or ANY deathscort) promoting ANYTHING pro-life. They want you to escort the money IN…not turn it away.

We were with you a year ago during the “Cry for Justice;” our “hearts” will be with you today and through this week-end of special events leading up to January 22nd.
What a transformation from my first visit to this site on a hot August day in 1991, and from the site just last year after the purchase of “Central!!”
To God be the glory, and to all of you and your faithful witness–thank you from John and I. We “lift” our prayers to the Lord “with you” during these coming days!

to everyone at OR, I love you guys! and thankyou all who prayed…you might remember months ago I told of an employee of mine who was pregnant and scheduled for an abortion at Planned Parenthood. Well she has had her baby…a beautiful little girl! this young mother and her mother were pondering the horror of what they would be missing had the young woman gone ahead with her abortion at PP. they were holding this little newborn and you could see the anguish on their faces at the very thought that they almost killed her. They said they would never tell this little girl that she was almost aborted. I hope this family ponders abortion and what it would have taken from them. i hope they DO tell this little girl how she was almost a victim of choice…so that she can grow up and be a defender of life. It was a beautiful moment to see mother and child together and I thought triumphantly “Planned Parenthood didnt get this one!” I want to close every abortion clinic in this country!!!!!! God is greater than all man’s evil!!!!!!!! With God nothing is impossible!!!!!

It is unfortunate that you marred an otherwise commendable presentation with a derisive comment about “deathscorts”.

Slightly more than two years ago, I too would have been one of those “deathscorts” – had my financial circumstances allowed it. I have met more than a few individuals who have served in this capacity – I would like to count several as my friends.

In 2005-2006 I vowed to myself that, would I ever serve as a clinic escort, I would go out of my way to encourage the services of the pro-life clinics – if the patient asked for this. Most compellingly, if the clinic patient and/or her caregiver seemed ambivalent and troubled, I would be insistent: If you are unsure about abortion, leave this clinic immediately. See additional guidance, ponder this deeply, and make your decision.

Two years have passed, and I have been unable to pursue this advocacy to this extent – not least because the Central Clinic is no more.

Please do not call us disdainful names; it does not serve any discernible purpose. Just as it doesn’t help anyone to verbally denigrate clinic employees. We’re not a cross between Beelezebimbo and the original bespoiler of man – any more than all pro-life activists are an unsetlling combination of Paul Hill and Charles Manson……….
