Operation Rescue® is one of the leading pro-life Christian activist organizations in the nation and has become the voice of the pro-life activist movement in America. Its activities are on the cutting edge of the abortion issue, taking direct action to restore legal personhood to the pre-born and stop abortion in obedience to biblical mandates.

Caroling & harassment...sounds like a typical, toxic ACLU concoction...but it goes back further than the ACLU:

God rest you merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay;
The herald angels cannot sing, the cops arrest them on the wing
And warn them of the docketing of anything they say.

God rest you merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay;
On your reposeful cities lie deep silence, broken only by the motorcars' melodious cry, the hooter's happy bray.

God rest you merry gentlmen, let nothing you dismay;
For when the song of children ceased and Herod was obeyed,
In his high hall Corinthian, with purple and with peacock fan,
Rested that merry gentleman...and nothing him dismayed.

-- GK Chesterton

There is disagreement among Christians as to the validity of celebrating the birth of Christ, the timing of doing so, to tree or not to tree, etc. Some believe that the Old Testament feasts, having been ordained of God Himself, should be kept; others believe that the resurrection is the defining event of Christianity and should be celebrated; that everyone was born, but only one was resurrected...personally, I think the advent of Christ is something to sing about, at any time one thinks of it, especially at such time as one thinks history indicates His actual birth; after all, not everyone was born OF A VIRGIN. Jesus entered human history through a door marked, "No entrance" and left through a door marked, "NO EXIT"...Both of which merit much singing and rejoicing!!!

But the biggest divide is among those who welcome the coming of the Savior, the Redeemer of mankind, the Great Physician, the Great Shepherd of lost sheep, the Lamb of God that takest away the sins of the world, Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace, the King of Kings and LORD OF LORDS, and those who hate his coming because they love darkness rather than light.

And speaking of divides, it seems relevant and worth mentioning that the line between good and evil does not run between political parties, denominations, races, or nations: it runs straight down the middle of every human heart.

THE TRUTH IS "HATE" (harassment, etc.) TO THOSE WHO HATE THE TRUTH!

To ORW & friends, keep up the great work and witness for life;
To Tiller & co., REPENT!

Praying for you all. . .

Jessie,

You have to remember that these people kill innocent babies for a living. I have to wonder if going to their neighborhoods and praying for them is ENOUGH.

Christmas caroling used to be considered a blessing when carolers came to a house. Now it's harassment? I think OR is showing love for these people by caring enough to take the gospel to them. Some Christians actually even knock on stranger's doors and tell them about Jesus. Are they harassing, too? It's interesting how when abortion is involved, traditionally considered acts of caring are suddenly "harassment."
