I agree. I think that the ER is liable too because they are required to do a “head-to-toe” assessment of the woman. In that assessment I’m sure puss and a truly foul smelling discharge would have been noticed even without a true pelvic exam.

Both PP and RCRMC’s ER (Riverside County) are accountable. The Nurse Practitioner should have been called to question and disciplined. The NP at the PP is Nancy Spooner and the CA Board of RNs shows absolutely NO disciplinary action against this nurse.

I’m going to contact the board about it.

in stead of talking mean lets face realites the medical field give us many false hopes for what we think will give us a better life we should be praying for the family and the one that was trick in beliving that a better life would come from an abortion we must make it known that abortions can hurt and kill us in many ways and we should never say that she and the family diserved what happen to them but we should be saying lets stop the abortionist from tricking and foolen young women to belive that a happy and good life could come from abortions when the fact is that god created womene to have children and play a wonderful role as mother the truth is that if a young women gets pregnant they should just have there children the fact is that are likkily to have children any in there life time so whats the different if its a little younger its better when your younger to have children because your children are likier to be healthier when your younger you have more energy to keep with taking care of your children and children grow fast it not a problem to really worry about so stop killing your child your killing part of you your mather your father your family if you dont what the child put it up for adotion it really works you know and theres nothing to be imberished about thell understand you but dont end up to be a victim in many ways dont listen to that doctor how whats to kill your baby dont listen to that in you that said i cant make it having a child not true your parents made it to have you god made you to have children not to kill them stop killing your children for your selfish ideas the same way that you what to live so those your baby that baby grows to a person just like your self killing your own child is worst in gods eyes than an army fighting each other because god hates some one that can kill some one close to them self god hates that kind of trader its discucting in gods eye and makes you look down at because our not making the world a place for gods present to dwell in this earth your destroying it for you for the future of others and for god your not following the rules of god if the world would just follow the rules of god none of this sad depressing things like abortion would exist in the world dont make your self end up decived children our good and gods plans for you and for this world so please dont have an abortion please belive the abortionist could not give a dam about you our your baby a our anyhting about you our your family dont put your self in the deciving hands of the devil which is the abortionists beliving the abortionist our the devils workers dont deal with the devil the devil will hurt you kill you dont miss with the devil he would kill you to if he could get you when your having an abortion dont have one and the devil cant have you are your child prayto god say this god cast the devil out of my life and awy from my child and to protect me and my child give god a try he loves you even do its hard to belive that he does go to church and ask them they will help you see openly and see what god requires of you and then see gods love just come non stop you will never leave him i promise gods love is so good he will never leave you .

Wow! – Judge and Jury in one, well aren’t we all just so perfect. Stephanie H., if you councel abortion bound women what on earth is your motivation – you are so angry! I know I know the baby and yes that innocent life must be defended, but the mother needs to trully know the love (and I stress Love) of Jesus Christ. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God – All. I agree with you Stephanie that these women are not victims but that awakening is going to take time and wise, godly wisdom to get them to that point and a lot of prayer. Jesus loves you Stephanie, receive it and pour it out on these women – only He can change them and that is the only way to save these precious babies.

Funny how life works….Woman goes into a clinic to kill her baby and ends up dying. Sorry to say it but….EYE FOR AN EYE! Sucks for her!! She paid for her stupidity with her life and now she can look her baby right in the eye in heaven and explain why she wanted to kill it.

OH…CHRISTINA….dont use the word “biblical”. No where in the bible does it say it is okay UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES (abusive boyfriend or not) to take a life. Clearly you know NOTHING about the bible so its pretty hypocritical of you to use the word “biblical”. There are several people and organization out there that can and will help women in situations like that so the baby can live. Get your facts straight.

I counsel abortion bound mothers on a fairly regular basis. I have heard every imaginable ( and unimaginable) story “why” women kill their children. For the most part, these women are pre-meditated killers, and are fully aware that there is a living person growing inside of them. Those who have mid and late term abortions have usually had months to consider their actions. Most women willingly make a call to an abortion mill, most make preparations to have the abortion, taking time off of work, getting a “support person”, etc. ( this is clearly pre-meditation)There are the rare exceptions when a woman or young girl is coerced and threatned. And then you have someone innocent like Christina Gilbert. But overall, women who kill their offspring, do so of their own freewill. I will assert again, when pro-lifers make the woman the victim, we do a great disservice to the real victim; the baby.

I would hope that Edrica’s story would be a wake-up call to other abortion bound mothers. When you hire a hit man to kill your child, you may get caught in the crossfire.

I agree Christina. We all bought into the lies at one time or another. Satan is the father of them. We don’t fight against people ,but the principalities of darkness. I am a sinner saved by Gods grace and am so thankful I didn’t receive what I deserved for my sins. Christ gave us all a way out, his grace abounded. We all earned death. I want to extend that same mercy to hurting, confused people.

Mary, from what I can gather, there was no reason to do a pelvic exam because they had no clue that there was an obstetric reason for her symptoms. Do you do pelvic exams on ALL female patients? I think not.
