Tiller’s ProKanDo: “First 300 Drinks are Free”
Wichita, Kansas, — With Operation Rescue’s Truth Truck parked just feet from the door, about 30 supporters of late-term abortionist George Tiller and his Political Action Committee, ProKanDo, entered the alleyway entry of a local dinner theater for a secret, invitation-only holiday “celebration” of abortion that included up to 300 free alcoholic beverages.
An anonymous source deep inside Tiller’s abortion organization tipped off Operation Rescue to the party’s location, a secret that ProKanDo had carefully guarded. Rescuers showed up with two, large paneled Truth Trucks adorned with images of aborted babies, along with about a dozen other signs depicting the grisly the reality of what ProKanDo’s partygoers support by giving money to Tiller’s PAC. Rescuers also preached to attendees a message of shame for their support of child-killing, and a call to repentance and forgiveness.
This is not the first of Tiller’s parties that has included large amounts of alcohol. On September 3, 2003, ProKanDo’s Receipts and Expenditures Report filed with the Kansas Governmental Ethics Commission in January, 2004, shows a disbursement to Grape & Grain Wine & Spirits, Wichita a liquor store, for $307.45.
Tiller has a documented history of drug and alcohol abuse. Documents obtained by Operation Rescue indicate that Tiller was disciplined by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts and prohibited from ingesting alcohol as a part of his stipulated agreement. In addition, Tiller admitted in a sworn statement to the Oklahoma Medical Board that he perforated the uterus of a woman during an abortion around the time he was struggling with addiction.
“This party was nothing more than a drunken bash,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “I guess one would almost have to get drunk and stay drunk in order to live with being responsible for the brutal dismemberment of thousands of innocent baby boys and girls in the womb.”
“We know that Tiller completed a recovery program about 20 years ago for his drug and alcohol addictions,” Newman continued. “However, the large amounts of liquor currently being served at Tiller’s parties begs the question: Has Tiller fallen off the wagon? And if he has, women deserve to know, because his bad behavior puts women at risk.”

With regards to Tiller and alcohol, was he at the party as well?

Steven,
Tiller was at the party. One of his security guards drove him there and dropped him off at the back entrance to avoid having to face us again. Tiller is a proud man who likes to face his fears. He often does rather silly things to prove his “courage” to us. So for him to slink in the back entrance was actually something of an indication to us that all is not well in his world.
Hmmmmm…300 drinks divided among 30 guests. I’m guessing noone left that party sober. Somehow the idea of anyone playing the dual role of host and designated driver at that sort of party, especially, seems highly unlikely. Anyone get parting shots of Tiller…??? What club was that?
Surely Tiller has already realized what an excellent swimmer a guilty, or deadened, conscience is, and how futile it is to try and drown it. If not, let us pray that he and his minions soon will…and that there will be a Life guard around when it happens to throw them a real rescue. It is always one of two ways with personal sin: repentance and forgiveness, or rationalization, denial, projection, etc., etc., etc.
Good work, ORW…looking forward to joining you ASAP

i’d like to point out that the only difference between what are commonly referred to as ‘back-alley butchers’ by the poor choice crowd, and today’s abortionists, is that today, they hang out signs and take credit cards.
other than that, it’s pretty much business as usual. babies are still killed, women maimed and/or killed, and lives are ruined.
oh, and i guess there is one other difference – today, they proudly have fundraising parties and arrogantly flaunt their involvement with baby killing.
to quote the prophet Jeremiah, “…no, you were not ashamed at all; you don’t even know how to blush!”
(jer 8:12)
Well done Troy and ORW.
Hey, I wonder if this boozy fiesta boasted a karaoke bar! ‘Cause I just love to sing – always have, always will. I just adore giving vent to my latent musical proclivities – any chance I can get. I can see it now: I could have posed as one of Pro-Kan-Do’s supporters, downed a couple white wine spritzers, and hopped onto that stage for a memorable performance.
Gazing beatifically into Dr. Tiller’s eyes, I would have announced that “this song is for you, sir!” Can you imagine the look on the good doctor’s face when the upbeat melody of one of Hall & Oates’ classic tunes began overtaking the bonhomie?
Yes, yes…I would have taken “No Can Do” and run with it – as only I can. Of course, I’d change the title to “I Can’t Go For That….No…Pro-Kan-Do.” And I’d take the lyrics and change ‘em – matching the authors’ superior sensibilities to my very own. Now, that song is more than two decades old, so I can’t remember all the lyrics. But what I do remember is, uh, memorable. So, here’s how I’d change ‘em:
“Sleazy abortionists….working overtime.
When will you stop, when will the Supreme Court draw the line….
One used my body…..now you want my soul….
O-o-o-o-o-h, forget about it now, say no go.
But I…..I….would do almost anything (for me and other women, too)….
Yes, I…I’d do almost anything (if God wants me to)….but…
I can’t go for that, no, Pro-Kan-DO. I can’t go for that, no, Pro-KAN-Do. I can’t go for that, can’t buy into that, can’t be duped by that, can’t go for that, can’t be at peace with that, YEAH!
“I can (no longer) go for being twice as nice. I can’t go for just repeating the same old lies. (One) used my body, but you can’t have my soul. Old Dr. Tiller, just forget about it, say no go.”
Now, at this point, some hairy beast from Diamond Security with a hula-dancing figurine on his mirror and a subscription to “Hustler” would probably have picked me up and carried me out the door and summarily dumped me in a garbage receptacle. (One of Prince’s minions, Jerome Benton, did the same thing in “Purple Rain.” Inexplicably, NOW remained silent about that, too.) So I probably wouldn’t get to finish my Grammy-winning performance. But it would have been enjoyable while it lasted.
And it would have served a purpose. It would have soothed the savage breasts that may be ravaged by cancer if certain ominous statistics are any indication. So, I’d better enjoy myself while I can. Let’s hear it for creativity!
Let’s get a few things straight. No, there was no karaoke. We all talked to each other–that’s what intelligent people do when they get together.
ProKanDo paid the bill for the first $300 worth of drinks. Given the alcoholic drinks ranged from $4 to $6, depending on what people had, simple math would tell you that comes to about two drinks per person. Also, many people drank coffee, tea, or soda.
Dr. Tiller doesn’t drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or take drugs. Being in the company of those who drink alcohol does mean that one has to do that oneself. I’ve spent many an evening drinking water or soda when other people were drinking alcohol.
It’s one thing to have disagreements about abortion rights; it’s another to lie and spread disinformation about those who support abortion rights. Of course, what else is new? Antis never get anything right.
Nice try Lux, but our information about the drinks was confirmed by two independent sources.
I notice that you ignore the fact that Tiller has a history of substance abuse. Frankly, you cannot know if he is using or not because people with addictions very often attempt to hide their abuse from those around them.
But the most important thing that we have right is that abortion is murder, and those who aid and abet the murder of the innocent share in the guilt. Since you are such a person, you have blood on your hands and your only hope of avoiding God’s judgment is to humble yourself before God, repent, and seek forgiveness through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
lux
what religious views do you hold, lux?
sacraficing children to molech or something like that?
those who cheer for the killers of children are just as guilty as those who do the bloody work.
While Tiller’s drinking habits are indeed a matter of concern to anyone considering placing her life/health at the mercy of his skill & judgment, whether he drinks fermented beverages is a comparatively small matter compared with the huge quantities of innocent blood he sheds, repeatedly, and intentionally. (Is this habit-forming?)
While the biblical prohibition of drunkenness is clear enough, I cannot find a single verse of scripture condemning moderate wine consumption, per se; but there are quite a number of them condemning, unequivocally, the shedding of innocent human blood.
Moreover, what woman in her right mind would entrust her health & life to people who knowingly, deliberately, and repeatedly kill other people?
And what caring person — by which I mean one who thinks of the welfare of others in a positive light– would encourage her to do so? HMMMMMMM, lux, et al? Can’t you proaborts ever get it right?
