Another Alabama Abortion Mill Closed
Mobile, AL — The Center for Choice in Mobile, Alabama, has closed, furthering the trend of diminishing numbers of abortion clinics nationwide. The abortion mill had operated under that name since 1994, and reported an annual income in abortion sales of $81,000. Phone calls to the abortion mill ring in but are not answered. The office space is up for lease.
The Gulf Christian Newspaper reported in an undated article that the registered agent of the Center for Choice, Patricia Mitchell, had been convicted several years ago of reckless endangerment after she brandished a handgun at two pro-lifer supporters after a clinic protest.
“Those who promote the killing of innocent babies in the womb were dealt another blow with the closing of this abortion clinic,” said Operation Rescue Troy Newman. “Abortion mills are closing all over the nation, and new ones are not replacing them because of the dramatic success of pro-life efforts in recent years that have led to a decrease in demand for abortions. This is yet another evidence that we are winning the battle for the hearts and minds of Americans, and that the days of abortion in our nation are numbered.”

This is another example of follow the money. The Bible states, “The love of money is the root of all evil”. We thank God that this abortion mill is closed down and it was done in spite of FACE. I pray continously about all the clinics around the country closing. If we continue to be faithful, God will respond to our prayers. The amount of money that this clinic brought in is surprising low, is it any wonder that they can not operate under such a low budget. That is one of the reasons that the abortion industry is so adamant about attempting to perserve the infanticide [how can a baby be "partially born"] method. With the infanticide method, the abortionist can make a large profit by first charging the woman [who is the killer, not Dr. Dobson] as much as he or she wants to. Warren Hern, in the past, has charged $5,000.00 for a second trimester abortion. After the intial charge to kill the baby, they then sell the body parts to medical research and treatment [the more perserved the better the price] [ie. Parkinson's]. Don’t we, in the pro-life community, believe our own literture or preaching? How many times have we stated that, “they (the parents, the abortionist) kill the baby by bringing the head out, then stabbing the back of the head with scissors and then they suck the brains out with a tube, then they sell the body parts”? I have heard this thousands of times and said it myself while protesting at a clinic. We know that, by the enemy’s own stats, 2200 infanticide method killings were done a year. Once a woman, who is the real killer, waits that long to have an abortion, there are not many options left or people to hire to kill her baby. That is why Hillary, Obama, and Edwards want to keep this infanticide method around, however, the Supreme Court, Congress and the President have said, “enough”. Will this be the “law of the land” or will they “choose” to ignore it. That is anybody’s speculation!

To Mr. Clifton Powell of May 01:
I do wish that Mr. Powell would stop calling women the real killers! They are not the killers, the abortionists (so called “doctors”) are the real killers. Women in
difficult pregnancy situations are the victims. Some-
times there is some real selfishness on the part of
the woman-victim, but most of the time it is total fear
and confusion. He should know that the abortion
industry exacerbates the fear and confusion so that
the mother-to-be will be just about forced (so much
for “choice”) to have the dreaded abortion procedure.
He needs to show real compassion towards these
desperate women instead of blatant sexism and
chauvinism. The Pro-Life Movement is all about
compassion and aid- not condemnation. Abortion is
a real manifestation of a militant capitalist society that
believes in making money “by any means necessary”
(the opposite of the Marxist maxim). So, let us leave
sexism behind and show love as Jesus Christ would
have done.

To explain my earlier comments, let me begin by acknowleding that I agree with John Davis in the sense that we do need to help woman in crisis pregnancies. However, that is after she has changed her mind about committing murder and wants/needs help. I have offered many woman the hope of life and I constantly encourage them to seek help through adoption and CPC’s by direct action at abortion clinics. The mother is key, without her cooperation the abortion industry can not get their hands on the baby to kill it. I have observed the complex psychology of women [and men] entering the clinics. They appear to be filipant and uncaring about killing their baby. Granted, I can not read their minds, so I can only believe what I observe while on the front lines trying to persuade them to change their minds and choose life.
To be sure I am not deflecting blame off the father and the abortionist, they are just as guilty if they deceive her or pressure her and she goes through with the abortion. However, if she changes her mind, regardless of their actions, they are not guilty because no one died.
I was responding in the earlier email to this new trend that some people blame everyone but the people invovled. Some in the pro-life camp would place blame on the President, the Congress, the Supreme Court and Dr. Dobson [which I do not]. That is why I wrote the earlier call to bring it back to the real person(s) to blame.
