St. Paul, MN – Emergency responders rushed a Planned Parenthood patient to a local hospital after she suffered life-threatening injuries at their new $16 million, three-story, 46,000-square-foot facility in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Wednesday, March 6, 2012.
This was the second emergency transport from a Minnesota Planned Parenthood in ten months. The previous incident took place at the abortion supplier’s old facility.
“Sixteen million dollars later and Planned Parenthood is still botching abortions and endangering the lives of women,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue and Pro-Life Nation.
Video of the incident, apparently taken on a cell phone camera, was provided to Operation Rescue from Brian Gibson of Pro-Life Action Ministries.
It showed a frantic security guard for Planned Parenthood desperately waiving paramedics, who were pushing a gurney on foot, down a long alley-way to the back of the building where the patient was later loaded into the ambulance. It is unknown if the woman even survived her injuries.
“There should be no debate about whether our tax dollars should continue to fund Planned Parenthood. This and many other similar incidents demonstrate that Planned Parenthood operates a dangerous abortion racket that profits at the expense of women who all too often land in the hospital or the morgue. Instead of being funded, Planned Parenthood should be investigated, defunded, and closed for good,” said Newman.
