Operation Rescue® is one of the leading pro-life Christian activist organizations in the nation and has become the voice of the pro-life activist movement in America. Its activities are on the cutting edge of the abortion issue, taking direct action to restore legal personhood to the pre-born and stop abortion in obedience to biblical mandates.

Well, if she really LOVED the man, she wouldn't have had an abortion. She killed a part of herself, and she killed a part of him. Abortion is murder.

Ok. So, she was old enough to make a decision, a Christian, & engaged, & SHE CHOSE to have an abortion.
Many muslims also decide to make this decision, as well as Buddhists. I know cause I see them.

I used to work at a CPC and I am sorry to say that we do occasionally see Christian women from evangelical churches considering abortion. They are aware it is wrong, and why it is wrong.

However, the pressure in my experience comes from the fact that if they carry the baby to term, everyone will know they fornicated.

That's usually the motivation. I don't think they need instruction about the sinfulness of abortion. Perhaps about the sinfulness of pride. Also, they need to know that the church and their families will still love them even if they sinned sexually.

Someone need to contact Chuck Smith in California! He needs to instruct all of his Calvary Chapel pastors on how to preach against abortion. We need to stop worrying about global warming and begin to look at what God's word says about the Shedding of Innocent Blood! Read Troy Newman's book!!

One obvious reason that mothers (and very often fathers, as well) choose to abort, despite a profession of Christian faith, is that we, being human, have human fears and weaknesses. This is understandable.

But the other-- and truly reprehensible one-- is that most religions that claim to be Christian are not Christian at all. They're pagan. They've so twisted the fundamentals of Christianity that even the Commandments are no longer observed. Thus, anything goes: divorce and remarriage; homosexuality; ignoring the Sabbath; euthanasia and abortion, etc.

Oh, you'll still find a cross on the buildings. (Not that it has any meaning in such a context, of course.) In some of these "churches" all you have to say is "I accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior" and that's it. Yer in! Yer saved! Yer goin' to Heaven, no ifs ands or buts.

So, let's be reasonable. As long as it's THAT easy to be saved, why bother to actually LIVE the Faith?
