Wichita, KS — Operation Rescue’s A cry for justice kicked off this afternoon with a press conference and outreach at George Tiller’s Wichita abortion clinic, Women’s Health Care Services.
Press Conference at Tiller’s Mill
Around 30 pro-life supporters gathered at the nation’s most infamous abortion clinic for a press conference calling for the reinstatement of 30 criminal charges against George Tiller.
Rev. Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition and Dr. Gary Cass of the Center for Reclaiming America told reporters that they would seek a federal investigation to find out why District Attorney Nola Foulston and Kansas Attorney General Paul Morrison are not enforcing the law by prosecuting Tiller for illegal late-term abortions.
Also at the clinic were a group of about 25 pro-abortionists who sporadically chanted during the press conference, but were confined to the opposite side of the driveway entrance by orange mesh fencing.
Christians continued arriving in Wichita thoughout the day, with more expected over the weekend. “We are expecting a big snow storm, so that will very likely keep many people home,” said OR Outreach Coordinator Cheryl Sullenger. “But this isn’t really about numbers.”
Courthouse Picket
About 15 members of the Cry For Justice group then picketed in front of the County Courthouse with signs that read “Foulston, Enforce The Law.” The group chanted, “Nola Foulston — Justice Now!” as they stood under the window to her second floor office.
The group then went up to Foulston’s office and requested a meeting with her. They were told by Ronald R. Davenport, Chief Administrative Investigator with the DA’s office, to put their request in writing.
The following statement was faxed over to Foulston’s office later that afternoon:
Dear Ms. Foulston:
We are deeply concerned that there may be an intentional effort underway on the part of the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office and the Kansas Attorney General’s office to deny due process in the matter of criminal charges against George R. Tiller for illegal late-term abortions.
We are asking you to read the complaint, then reinstate the 30 misdemeanor charges that were lawfully filed by Attorney General Phill Kline on December 21, 2006. We understand that two judges have already determined that there is probable cause of believe that crimes have been committed. These charges need to be heard in a court of law.
We are requesting a meeting with you on Monday, January 22, 2007, at 11:00 AM to discuss this matter.
We hope that progress is being made toward properly enforcing the laws of the State of Kansas. In the case that we determine that progress is insufficient, we will be forced to request a Federal Investigation in order to determine why the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office and the Kansas Attorney General’s office will not enforce the law. We hope it does not come to that.
You may contact Rev. Pat Mahoney at 540-538-4741, if you need to communicate with our group.
Sincerely,
Rev. Pat Mahoney

Evening Convocation
The day’s events were capped off by an Opening Convocation at Heartland Community Church where a video montage of clips from the O’Reilly Factor were shown. O’Reilly has broadcast several segments that have been highly critical of Tiller’s late-term abortion business. Rev. Pat Mahoney encouraged the assembly with an energetic talk reflecting on the work that God began in 1991 during the Summer of Mercy, and is continuing today in Wichita.
Saturday’s Activities
Saturday’s activities will include a Cry For Justice Conference at Heartland Community Church from 10 AM to 4 PM followed by a keynote address by Dr. Cass at 7 PM.

I think you guys should press ahead with the federal investigation. Pressure from the top may be what is needed. It was that way with the voting rights legislation, civil rights legislation, and others. These people must be held in account. I will be praying for you throughout this time.
our god is a god of mercy&justice,he is asking for you to seek him!he gives mercy to all who ask for it.justice will be given to all of us one day before him on judgement day.
our god is a god of mercy&justice,he is asking for you to seek him!he gives mercy to all who ask for it.justice will be given to all of us one day before him on judgement day.
so please give this tiller the justice it deserves!
looks like steve has the right idea go to the federal da`s office&president bush with this case then childrens lives may be spared.we just celebrated dr.martin luther kings jr.day ,after all they had to go that way for the blacks to be treated as equals.saddly it looks a lot like what they went through is happening still in our world today.
in jesus name we need to press on.
we will be praying for all of you.
Peace Be With You!
I will continue a Rosary for the Success of “A Cry For Justice”! And for all involved in Wichita this weekend.
Thank you for all of your efforts for the end of the Genocide.
The “Kansas Conspiracy” must come to an end! These politicians are blatantly supporting criminal activities for personal gain! A Federal Investigation is definitely in order, as DA Foulston and Attorney General Morrison are covering up the facts that George tiller is performing late term abortions without regard to the law, and he is practicing “medicine” according to his “own rules” disregarding reporting patient information to the proper authorities. Proper documentation of these patients medical condition as required by law would display exact logistics as to precise events preceding the abortion process and/or the death of the mother or baby. As a nurse, I have to document every patient
reaction, change of condition, and procedural result.
Why is Tiller and his “medical assistants” exempt from
following lawful policies that apply to the general medical community? He is practicing medicine in an unprofessional manner in his treatment and care of his patients and making independent decisions regarding their safety, well being, and psychological health when he encourages and performs abortions on women without empathy for the pain he is inflicting on the babies. Operation Rescue has our support!

“Mothers Against Abortion”
God bless you guys for standing up for innocent unborn children, and making your voices heard. I am there with you in spirit.
“We also pray that you will be strengthened with his glorious power so that you will have all the patience and endurance you need. May you be filled with joy,
always thanking the Father, who has enabled you to share the inheritance that belongs to God’s holy people, who live in the light.
For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son.” Col 1:11-13
“Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.”
Psalms 37:5-6
All I can say is keep up the good work and thank you!
I could not make it to Wichita- but I want the City of Wichita to know that I stand with the pro-lifers in calling for an investigation into the charges against Tiller. What is going on in that state that one man can get the law enforcers there to turn a blind eye? Let it me known that those of us around the country are watching what happens in Wichita , Kansas – we may not be there physically- but we do care. I hope everyone that could not drive there will post a reply here so we can add to the numbers ! But if they do not- Wichita must realize that the word is getting out and the public is demanding an investigation. Justice will prevail- keep it up guys, we are with you !
Good to see any effort offered to shut down Abortionist Tiller. Your efforts call to mind the noble sacrifice of Shelley Shannon.
Shelley Shannon spared Tiller’s life when she walked up to his car and purposely shot him twice in the arms rather the head or heart in 1994. Although she had blown up several abortuaries around the American countryside, she just did not want to stop the murder of children by lethal means. Consequently, she shot him twice: intentionally once in each arm. The hack prosecutor charged herewith intent to murder (a false charge), but she did not aggressively resist it in order not to disrespect the work of Michael Griffin who had recently terminated Abortionist David Gunn in Florida. She did not condemn such terminations, but simply did not opt to take such action personally.
Until this new regime came to power, for a little while the prosecutors were, at least, going after the bad guys this time.
I just cannot believe how these politicians continue to keep up this sickening corruption. The blood is on their hands. I am so glad that I bought a computer and found this site. It has made me aware of two things. One;The abortion industry is worse than I ever could have imagined. Two; Some people ARE above the law. How long are others going to “cover” for these creeps? And now they themselves[those doing the cover ups] qualify as creeps. I am so relieved to see that the good people of OR care.
Michael, I’m glad to see you are on the pro-life side but in order to be fully pro-life, we should NEVER endorse violence or murder even if it is for a “noble cause” (and there is really no such thing). By turning a gun on these abortionists we are becoming the very enemy we are trying to stop. We must rise above them and defeat them in peace with the almighty power of prayer. Shelley Shannon should not be viewed as a good example for the pro-life movement. In fact, it is she who gives us a bad rep. I do not believe what she did was the right solution. The end does not justify the means.
Reese, excellent points. In the Gospel, when the high priests’ men came to arrest Jesus, St. Peter struck the ear of one of the slaves in the party. Jesus rebuked St. Peter and healed the slave’s ear.
The pro-abortion side commits violence every day against innocent babies and disabled people like Terri Schiavo. Abortion supporters also routinely commit violence against prolifers or vandalize the posessions of prolifers. We must renounce all forms of violence. Certainly, we must never engage in the activities the other side uses.
Every human being has value and can contribute much to society. St. Paul was committing evil prior to his conversion. But had he been killed or intentionally disabled at that point, there would have been a tremendous loss to the Christian faith and world history.
Those who support right-to-life terrorism (like Michael Bray) should themselves be the targets of counter-terrorist action.
I call on all readers to go to michael bray’s home and kill him, his wife, and his children.
Why does Bill discrimiate against the preborn?
How old must a child be in order to be worthy of the same and equal defense that is deemed justifiable to the BORN child?
Poor Bill’s bias against an equal defense for the preborn is reminiscent of how the proaborts wish to place birth as an arbitrary point of value for the (preborn) child.
It appears that poor Bill rejects the God of the Bible.
Who used men to defend others from unjust agressors like the Egyptian task master who was beating a Jewish slave.
One has to consider why God in His infinate wisdom did not select to use the word “murder” to describe the lethal violence that Moses used in defense of the slave.
God did not condemn Ehud for rising up against the ruler and law of his day, by killing the King. God did not condemn Phinehas for killing two with a spear and even rewarded him for his ZEAL.
In fact NO WHERE in the Bible is the word (rastcha) that God selected for the 6th commandment “THOU SHALL NOT MURDER” to describe any defensive action that caused the death of another.
Yet foolish prolifers like to claim they know more than God when claiming defensive action that cause death are ‘murder’.
Whaddaya know … George Tiller leaves comments on this website!
(See above)
Frog, you talk about the Old Testament. Might I suggest you take a look at the New Testament? Are you suggesting that what I mentioned is not in the New Testament? Please read the Gospel according to St. Matthew, 26:51-2. The High Priest sent his men after Jesus, God Himself, and when St. Peter committed violence, God Himself rebuked St. Peter. Clearly, Jesus is above all of us. When God ordered the Prince of the Apostles not to do a specific thing for Him, why would the rest of us then do it for His creatures, preborn or born? Are you suggesting that we should not listen to God Himself as He spoke in the Bible?
Far from discrimination, this is obedience to God. We must not violate God’s Laws in attempting to restore justice to the preborn, the disabled, etc.
Prolife means respecting ALL human life from conception to natural death. It means letting the Author of Life, God Himself, number our days. Anything less puts us on the same level as pro-abortion people.
Again, I will point out St. Paul. If he had been murdered or intentionally disabled prior to his conversion, there would be a tremendous loss. The same is true for all human life. Each person was created by God.
It is necessary to speak out against the entire Culture of Death. But obey Jesus in the process. Afterall, He will be the one to judge each of us.
Dr. Death (Defense) that is!
Frog, by the way, do you make sure not to eat “unclean” food such as pork? Do you believe in slavery (allowed in the Old Testament)? Do you faithfully observe ALL of the over 600 rules in the Mosaic law?
The New Testament has been written. It’s more important to obey God’s direct Words within the New Testament. Jesus said “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” Are you without sin, Frog?
I’d suggest you read the following from the Catechism of the Catholic Church which covers the commandment Thou shalt not kill:
http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P7Y.HTM
In particular, note the Scripture quote from our Lord. It can be found in the Gospel according to St. Matthew, 5:21-22. In that same chapter, please note verses 38-39 and 43-44. These are instructions from our Lord, Jesus Christ, Who is God.
This guy dropped out for awhile when the feds where on to him. They know who he is.
Note how respectful Bill is and note how angry Frog is.We were told at the March For Life to pray for those that remained pro-choice.We were also told that if we came across them,to ignore any taunts;FORGIVE THEM FATHER FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!! That’s it. I never met a pro-choicer that didn’t get on the defensive. They ARE usually the people that start the arguements. Why would you become angry and defensive if you REALLY thought there was nothing wrong with this abomination called abortion? I don’t care what negative pro- aborts and pro-choice people have to say. I know I’m on the right side of the tracks.
Also Frog;Look at how you wrote things.” Foolish prolifers.” If doing the Lord’s work is foolish, then call me a fool! I would rather be a fool than on the team of CHOICE. NO respect for life=No respect for anyone or anything.I am sure that somehow an abortion affected your life.Perhaps you or someone you knew had an abortion, and you feel the need to justify it.I ask you to look at pictures of aborted children and get back to me. Do you really think God approves this?Your post is dripping with sarcasim.Do you also justify what Hitler did? Please get over yourself.
Silly Bill, thinks there is a difference between the God of the OT and the God of the NT. God does not change, Bill. The God of the NT is the same God.
Bill suggests taht we look at the NT. Let’s do that Bill.
2Timothy 3:16-17
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Just exactly what part of *ALL* scripture do you think does not mean the OT? Since the NT was not even completed, obviously Timothy was saying that the OT was to be used for our doctrine.
Poor Bill. perhaps thinks that we all have the same calling as Christ, to bethe redeemer of the world, by dying? THAT is the reason that Christ did not allow for a defense for Himself. Christ had a job to do. Interferance with this was not to be allowed.
We also havbea job to do. If we discriminate against the PREBORN, as Bill suggests, by not defending them EQUALLY as to a BORN, then we are saying that God is a liar and has a bias towards the born.
Scripture teaches that God is NOT a respector of persons. Perhaps Bill thinks like the proaborts, that the preborn are not persons?
Poor Bill thinks that the 6th commandement says not to “kill” when it has been exhaustedly explained this is an error, and is best interpretted “murder”.
Defending any human from an unjust agressor, born or unborn is not murder.
Bill thinks it is sinful for me to advocate equallity? Claiming that since no one is without sin, I am not able to judge Tiller’s abortion killing. FOOLISHNESS!
Poor Bill, errantly interpreting scripture to mean what he wishes it to mean, is judging me, based on man’s sin nature- saying unless I am sinless, I can not judge.
If Bill’s interpreation of that scrtiputre is correct, then that means that he also can not judge, since he is also a sinner.
The Bible is full of instructions for the believer to JUDGE. We are to judge RIGHTEOUSLY, tho-
Since poor Bill has not even studied God’s TOP TEN enough to understand their best interpretation to mean “Murder” not killing, Bill is in no position to judge those he does not know, righteously.
I have asked prolifers to allow God to use the opportunity of Kopp’s witness in court to change and to spur their heart on to the peaceful action and I invite them and others to join me in.
Not everyone is called to be a Paul Hill, James Kopp or Shelley Shannon type defender. But some are.
The church accept the “violence” of the ill-fated 9/11 flight to defend self and others, even calling them heroes.
Many in thew church view Martin Neumeullor Dietrich Bonhoeffer as heroes of faith for their participation in defending Jews with assaination attempts on Hitler.
These defensive acts are all very Godly in character.
God does not discriminate against persons- why should we?
But if prolifers continue to refuse to defend children peacefully and prayerfully- it will just give more need for last min. defense of the children by shotgun.
Why not show these women that you support them and join with me in peaceful, prayerful intervention at death’s door; as is my usual custom; to offer last min help to those scheduled to be killed that day?
Silly “4life” does not recognize sarcasm as a tactic of ‘instruction in righteousness’ and ‘advocacy of defense’, errantly claiming it to be “anger”.
That is a falsehood. I am not angry. Rather this is my usual self, full of righteous advocacy for equallity in the defense that is accepted by laim to be against baby killing.
He speaks of praying for the Father to forgive, and I agree with him in this. I pray that the Father forgives him for bearing a false witness against me (also one of God’s top ten), in his errant claim that I am angry.
In further error, “4life” writes:
“Frog;Look at how you wrote things.” Foolish prolifers.” If doing the Lord’s work is foolish, then call me a fool!”
Now let’s look at what was actually said: “Yet foolish prolifers like to claim they know more than God when claiming defensive action that cause death are ‘murder’. ”
Now if 4life wants to claim he “knows more than God ” and claim that defensive action that cases death is “murder” then I will gladly accept your desire to be called a fool.
But can you tell me why God does not call Moses, Ehud and Phinehas “murderers”?
Can you also explain why so many in the church, accept the lethal defense given bythose on Flight 93 who attacked unjust hyjackers, as well as acceptance of lethal conspiracies by the Confessing Church of Germany to defend Jews by assasinating Hitler, yet discriminate when simmilar defenses are offered for the preborn child?
How old does a person need to be in order to be worthy of equal defense?
To Dr. Death-Be careful on how YOU word things on this site. YOU sound downright threatening and dangerous!
Yes, Frog’s post is full of sarcasm but no anger.
Any reference to Hitler in Frog’s post does not imply any “justification” for Hitler’s evil killings any more than there is justification for Tiller’s evil killings.
God made Tiller as God made Hitler.
Proverbs 16:4 says, “The LORD has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil.”
Some believe the church should be outraged with Martin Niemöller,Dietrich Bonhoeffer and other leaders of the resisitance to Nazi extermination of Jews. However, many in the church now recognize the true character of God was revealed in the actions of these who were imprisoned for their faithful witness, of which many died martyers of the faith.
History may someday paint a much clearer picture of those who resisted unto death in defense of the unborn child as it has for those who defended the Jews.
Whatever force is justifiable in defense of the
life of a BORN child is legitimate to defend the life of an UNBORN child.
Mike should report this death threat to the feds. I don’t think this guy has surfaced since Clay was out doing his thing. This guy made some threats and the feds and the college investagated back then. It appears nothing came of it, but I’m sure the feds have records of Doctor Defense.
It’s okay Frog.I forgive you. I just cannot condone baby killing. How about the women that have 7-9-12 abortions?[Yes I do know women that DO admit to this with no reservations or apologies.] I can’t really help it that it disgusts me.I can’t help it that it disgusts me that abortionists are sexually abusing women and killing babies.I feel the need to do something.
Frog, interesting comments. First, I said nothing about there being a difference between the God of the OT and the God of the NT. Indeed, they are one and the same. But you, on the other hand, seem to ignore some of what God Himself directly stated in the NT. You did not address ALL of the Scripture verses I referenced. Again, I ask, do you observe all of the 600+ rules in the Mosaic law? If not, then why do you believe in obeying only certain ones? Do you feel you are better than Moses?
There is a reason that the NT contains statements from Jesus. We are to read and obey them. Otherwise, there would be little reason to quote Jesus in His public ministry. The NT could have just gone from the Nativity and early years direct to the Passion.
As to the statement about the commandment Thou shalt not kill, as a Catholic, I’ll take what the Catholic Church has to say about it over some poster whose nickname is that of an amphibian. The Catholic Church has existed since Pentecost.
I said nothing about your not being able to judge. Clearly it is expected that any Christian should judge the horrible sin of abortion to be wrong. If you read the Scripture about casting the first stone, you’ll know that quite literally, the woman was about to be stoned. Who is the one who is interpreting scripture for his own purposes?
As to your claims about Christ rebuking St. Peter, it is you who are interpreting. He said nothing about this applying only to Him. Read the Gospel according to St. Matthew, Chapter 26 verse 52. Please tell me where that verse says anything along the lines of how you are interpreting it.
As far as peaceful and prayerful pickets or just plain witnessing on the sidewalk near an abortion mill, that is what a lot of prolifers do. That is what I personally do. I don’t recall saying there was a problem with that. Your note erroneously implies that I did.
Again, what if someone had killed St. Paul back in the days when he was known as Saul? Afterall, Saul was killing Christians. I have asked you twice about this and you conveniently ignored it.
Then there is Bernard Nathanson, a former abortionist who went from being an athiest to a Catholic. He had a conversion which hopefully saved his soul and he has provided the pro-life movement with a great deal of information to refute the pro-abortion claims. Had he not had a chance to convert, he’d have been subject to immediate judgment. God wants all souls to ultimately be in Heaven but the conversion must take place in this life. It is God who numbers our days, not human beings. It is not for us to take that right away from God.
Are we to discriminate against the preborn like a bunch of proaborts- claiming they must be born before they are worthy of a defense that might take the life of their killers?
“What ifs” and desire to be content to being ignorant of scripture because of an on line name? Is that the best response you have to study to show YOURSELF aprroved unto God?
No one has asked that you accept the words of man, except the Catholc Church where I seldom see an actual Bible Study. What IS expected is that you seek the truth for yoruself. Search scripture and see if defense is a part of the character of God. See if what is said about the word that GOD chose in the 6th commandment is best interpretted murder or kill as the Catholic church has aledgedly taught you.
You should know, if you studied scripture that the word in the 6th commandment, for “murder” is ratsach and is NEVER used to describe a defensive killing, a self defense killing, a killing of war, or the execution of someone who has shed innocent blood.
You expect that I should answer questions regarding laws that are binding to Jews when I am not Jewish- (BTW there are 613 such laws if you study the scriptures)yet you ignore inquiries about Moses and why God does not claim his defensive killing to be murder.
You refuse to address any substantial differences between flight 91 killings by defenders of self and nation, Phinehas, Ehud, Moses and other modern day defenders like Bonehoffer, Niemöller, Bray, Shannon, or Hill.
How old does a person need to be in order to be worthy of equal defense?
Reagrding the laws of God that we are to adher to as Christians. Have you kept the Noahide laws? How about the ten commandments? And which do you adher or fail to adher to? The original ten or the recap of the original ten found 600 years later and taught by the Catholic church? I do not know of anyone who has? But perhaps you are better than all of those?
The fact is that in order to proclaim God’s teachings on subjects, one does not need ot be perfect or else it would never get done. No one is perfect when it comes to the law. The law does not save you.
Now you may not like this, Scripture says that the only way for a land to be cleansed of the blood guilt on it, is for the blood of the one who sheds innocent blood to be shed. and I want God’s blessing to come to this nation. This can be done by Christ’s precious blood, but if It is refused, this nation will suffer without God’s blessings. I wish for my grandchildren not to come under God’s wrath but instead His blessing so I advocate for the just execution of baby killers who will not stop killing.
Defending any human from an unjust agressor, born or unborn is not murder.
“I just cannot condone baby killing.”
Me either.
But are we to discriminate against the preborn like a bunch of proaborts- claiming they must be born before they are worthy of a defense that might take the life of their killers?
How old does a child need to be in order to be worthy of equal defense?
Robert, interesting. I guess you are the one behind the “Frog” nickname as you are saying under “Robert” that I failed to answer you when such questions were written to “Frog.”
You tell me I do not answer certain things yet you fail to answer the Gospel according to St. Matthew 26:52.
You seem to be focused on the Old Testament. I prefer to listen to what God Himself has said. You cannot answer my questions about St. Paul or Bernard Nathanson and dismiss them as “what ifs.” In either case, God would have most definitely lost that soul and humanity would have lost valuable information.
I condemn all violence whether it is from pro-aborts (who commit most of the violence) or so-called “prolife” people. As our Lord and Savior states, those who live by the sword will die by th sword. Despite your repeated accusations of my being discriminatory, I do not discriminate. I never said there was a difference between a born person and an unborn person. Life begins at conception. Period.
Violence only breeds more violence. The point of being prolife is to respect ALL human life, not just some. We are to allow the Author of Life, God Himself, the determination of the beginning and end of life. Pro-aborts are the ones who pick and choose which life to respect. They are also the ones who refuse to acknowledge the rightful place of God to number our days.
I have brought up various Scriptures directly quoting our Lord. You have ignored them and brought up Scriptures that do not directly quote our Lord. Again, I will say that if the statements by our Lord were not for us to obey, they would not have been written. The Gospels could have gone from the return from Egypt directly to the Passion if the Words of Jesus were somehow not relevant. The fact of the matter is that they ARE written in the Gospel.
You may disagree with the Catholic Church but that is between you and God. I will admit and apologize for the nickname comment. The point of the matter is that a personal interpretation of the Bible by someone online is not going to change anything. In fact, I have heard that same claim by a pro-abort who sometimes heckles me on the sidewalk in front of the local child sacrifice mill. He believes the Commandment has the same wording as you do. He also believes the pre-born are not human and thus abortion does not violate that Commandment. Wording it that way allows a pro-abort to ease their conscience. On the other hand, Thou shalt not kill does not provide such a loophole for a pro-abort.
Any act of violence does nothing to save babies. Abortion customers will go to another abortionist. Pro-aborts get the opportunity to demonize true prolifers (the ones who are not violent) and attempt keep them off the sidewalk. Ultimately, violence will only result in fewer saved babies because fewer prolifers will have the opportunity to peacefully and legally witness for life and change hearts and minds. New prolifers will choose not to go to the sidewalks. Violence begets more violence. It is not the answer. Period.
Robert, just to add, many prolife organizations condemn violence. Some of these organizations are responsible for hundreds of turnarounds. They have saved babies by providing peaceful and prayerful witness. We must witness to people who do not read the Bible, people who may not have any faith whatsoever. Do you really think that can be done in a climate where violence is used? Abortion customers have been fed a bunch of lies about how “easy” it is to have an abortion. They have been told how “hard” it is to raise an unwanted child. They need to be able to trust prolifers who attempt to peacefully counsel them or provide them with literature. If they see prolifers as crazies, they will not listen to them. If the first opportunity for communication is gone, the baby is automatically lost. What you attempt to justify only makes it that much more difficult for peaceful prolifers.
I also find it quite offensive that you dismiss concerns about the souls of sinners. You call that a “what if.” For God, every soul is precious. God the Father allowed His Son to suffer and die so that we have the opportunity (but not an automatic guarantee) to spend eternity in Heaven. We must hope that those who are committing serious sin live as long as possible so they have every opportunity to convert and repent here on earth. Conversion must happen in this life. It would be horrible if they were prevented from having every chance that God planned to make available to them.
The babies are secondary to the devil’s reason for pushing abortion. Rather, one single abortion can snare so many souls for the devil. The devil wants to prevent as many souls as possible from spending eternity with God. The soul of the mother and anyone coerces her into an abortion or supports her decision is in jeopardy. Obviously the souls of anyone who promote abortion are in jeopardy. This is a battle with the devil himself. Making oneself available to be used by Christ to bring about a conversion is what is needed. Bringing a soul away from the devil’s clutches is a victory for Christ. Conversion does not come by force or violence. If one dies in a state of mortal sin, it is a victory for the devil.
Again, we do have a discussion forum if you all would like to engage in an extended debate about a topic not covered by the article. Comments are really meant to speak to the point of the article. Thanks!
OR YOu know very well that your moderator will nto allow discussions that discuss the use of ANY force to defend preborn children equally and shut down threads (only to “reopen” whenever THEY and just long enough for them to add something else)
Speaking of the discussion forum, how does one join? I have tried twice to get a name to participate, but have never received any emails or information. Maybe you just never got the emails? I know OR can get very busy…
Yep,busted. Frog and Robert seem to be one in the same.Kinda creepy!
