Abortionist Neuhaus Will Testify Against Tiller If Case Is Reinstated

How far will Tiller and his cohorts go to keep “smoking gun” from testifying?

Wichita, KS — When Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline filed 30 charges involving illegal late-term abortions and reporting violations, Kristin Neuhaus was on the witness list and her sealed statement was submitted as evidence to support the charges. Neuhaus is a former abortionist who has for months traveled to Tiller’s Wichita abortion mill to provide the second signature on his late-term abortions that is required under Kansas law.

Now she plans to testify against Tiller, if the case is allowed to move forward.

On Wednesday afternoon, Kline will ask Judge Paul W. Clark to reinstate the charges he dismissed at the request of District Attorney Nola Foulston last Friday, so Neuhaus will have the opportunity to tell a jury what she knows about alleged illegal activity on Tiller’s part.

Neuhaus’ role in Tiller’s abortion business came to light when a confidential source inside the grand jury that investigated Tiller in the abortion death of Christin Gilbert told Operation Rescue of her involvement earlier this year. According to the source, Neuhaus was asked before the Grand Jury if there was ever an abortion that she did not sign off on. At that time, she took the Fifth Amendment to avoid self-incrimination.

The grand jury requested the documents from Neuhaus that specified what condition of Gilbert’s would have qualified her for an exemption to the Kansas ban on post-viability abortions. Gilbert’s pregnancy was in the third trimester and her baby was considered viable.

Prosecutor Ann Swegle, an employee of Foulston’s, told the grand jury that it would take “an act of God” to get those documents. The documents were never produced, raising suspicions that Friday’s behind-the-back legal maneuver was not the first time Foulston has intervened in legal matters on behalf of Tiller.

“Tiller and his cohorts are fighting tooth and nail to keep Neuhaus off the stand because they know that her intimate involvement in Tiller’s late-term abortion business makes her an expert and very knowledgeable witness for the prosecution,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Neuhaus is the ‘smoking gun’ that will convict Tiller, and they know it. That is why they will do almost anything to make sure that Neuhaus’ testimony never sees the light of day.”

“Corruption breeds in secrecy, but the truth thrives in the open. We urge anyone who can to come down to the County Courthouse at 2 PM to witness the hearing and thereby hold the officials accountable to do the right thing,” said Newman.

Operation Rescue is calling for continued prayer that the case against Tiller will be allowed to go forward and that justice will ultimately be done.

Kline Gets Hearing On Motion To Reinstate Tiller Charges

Will Corrupt Partisan Politics Protect Tiller From Prosecution?

Wichita, KS — Judge Paul W. Clark will hear a motion at 2 PM tomorrow where Attorney General Phill Kline will ask for 30 criminal charges to be reinstated against late-term abortionist George R. Tiller.

Judge Clark, who is currently assigned to hear traffic cases, had dismissed the charges Friday afternoon after pro-abortion Democratic District Attorney Nola Foulston successfully persuaded Clark, also a Democrat, that Kline had violated filing procedures.

Foulston says that Kline did not consult her or receive her permission before filing the charges against Tiller that allege illegal late-term abortions and improper reporting, but Kline insists that he met with Foulston in her Wichita office where she told him she would not interfere with the case.

Clark has invited a Tiller attorney and Attorney General-Elect Paul Morrison to also participate in tomorrow’s hearing. Morrison had made a campaign pledge to drop all investigations into Tiller and a Planned Parenthood in Overland Park if elected.

Clark was never presented evidence in the Tiller case, nor was Kline allowed to participate in the hearing where the Tiller charges were dismissed. Two other judges, Richard Anderson in Shawnee County and Eric Yost in Sedgwick County, both ruled there is probable cause to allow the case to continue after reviewing evidence presented by Kline’s office.

“Tiller’s blood money has greased the skids of the Kansas Democratic Party for years. They would not have the power they have today if it had not been for Tiller’s campaign contributions to both the party and to high profile democratic candidates such as Gov. Sebelius in her first campaign, and more recently to Morrison through third party contributions,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

“The entire Kansas Democratic Party owes Tiller and certainly does not want to lose their ‘Sugar Daddy.’ We question whether Attorney General Kline can get a fair hearing surrounded by so many Democratic operatives with a vested interest in Tiller’s fate. Tomorrow’s hearing will tell if corrupt partisan politics will continue to interfere with justice,” said Newman.

Kline Seeks To Have Tiller Charges Reinstated

Wichita, KS — In a press conference held Friday afternoon, Attorney General Phill Kline told reporters that he would seek to have 30 charges reinstated against abortionist George R. Tiller after Judge Paul W. Clark granted a motion made by Sedgwick County District Attorney Nola Foulston to have them thrown out.

“We are pursuing a legal remedy to what we consider a flawed decision by a district court judge,” said Kline.

Foulston, an abortion supporter and personal friend of Tiller’s, asked for the case to be dropped because she had not been consulted prior to the filing of the charges, as Kansas law requires. However, Phill Kline told reporters that he met with Foulston in her Wichita office just prior to his filing the case against Tiller in the presence of three other people. He said Foulston told him she had no problem with him filing the charges. The allegations in the criminal complaint all deal with criminal late-term abortions.

Kline stated that he was not notified of the motion until after the case had been dismissed. He said he was flying an attorney to Wichita late Friday to find Judge Clark, who was not returning his calls, in order to file an emergency motion for reinstatement.

“Foulston obviously isn’t telling the truth here,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “If Foulston in fact lied to a judge, that could be considered obstruction of justice, and would be further evidence of the massive corruption that has covered up for Tiller’s wrong-doing for years.”

“We have every confidence that Kline will prevail once his side of the matter can be heard,” Newman said.

“These charges are very serious, and it would be a travesty of justice not to have them heard in a court of law,” said Newman. “We are talking about illegally taking the innocent lives of viable babies who should have had the protection of law.”

“If the charges have no merit, then let’s have a hearing and determine that. But since they likely do have merit, we can expect Tiller and his lawyers to pull every underhanded trick in the book to keep Tiller from having to answer for these crimes. We are likely to see much more of these shenanigans if Kline is able to get the charges reinstated, as we believe he will.”
