TILLER GETS AWAY WITH MURDER!

Grand Jury fails to issue indictments in late-term abortion death of Texas teen.

Wichita, KS – Sedgwick County District Attorney Nola Foulston has issued a statement indicating that the Grand Jury and concluded its work and failed to indict abortionist George R. Tiller on charges related to the third-trimester abortion death of Christin Gilbert, who died after Tiller aborted her in January, 2005.

Operation Rescue President Troy Newman released the following statement:

“We believe the lack of indictment by the Grand Jury is the result of corruption and cronyism at the local and state level. Nola Foulston, is a personal friend of Tiller’s and should never have been involved in the investigation in any way. The Kansas Board of Healing Arts, which earlier cleared Tiller in Christin’s death is beholden to Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, who is in Tiller’s pocket due to massive campaign contributions. We will continue to work to find avenues that are not corrupted by Tiller’s blood money until Christin’s killer is finally brought to justice.”

Troy Newman is available for interview at 316-841-1700.

Fuller story to follow.

OR To Call for FL Abortion Mill Prosecution Under Federal Law

Hialeah, FL — Police in Hialeah, Florida, have closed an abortion clinic after discovery of a dead 22-week old baby that a tipster said was born alive and killed by clinic staff. Police are conducting a homicide investigation while an autopsy is being performed on the infant’s body.

Operation Rescue will call for all clinic personnel, including abortionist Frantz Bazile, owners Belkis Gonzalez and Siomara Senises, to be prosecuted under the Federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act if the autopsy indicates the baby was alive at birth.

Police have told reporters that an 18-year old girl who was 22 weeks pregnant went to A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center in the Miami suburb of Hialeah for an abortion and returned the following day in severe pain. She was informed that no doctor was present and was taken to a recovery area, where she delivered her premature baby. The baby was then taken from her and killed, according to the police informant, believed to be a clinic worker.

Police eventually discovered the baby’s body while executing a search warrant.

This is the second reported incident in recent months of an infant born alive at a Florida abortion mill. In April, 2005, a woman named Angele gave birth to Baby Rowan at Orlando Women’s Center operated by James Pendergraft. Angel’s cries for help for her baby were ignored and Rowan died.

This is not A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center’s first run-in with the law. A sister abortion clinic in Miramar, Florida, was closed last year after it was discovered that their abortionist had no medical license.

“We must demand that Florida authorities uphold the law,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “Women and babies are continuously endangered at what can only be described as dangerous human ‘chop chops.’ That is why we are calling for Federal prosecution under the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.”

“We, as a nation, need to come out of denial and face the true state of crisis that exists at the nation’s abortion mills,” said Newman. “The facts are that shoddy conditions and shoddier abortionists are the rule and not the exception. The only way to prevent horrific tragedies like this is to ban abortion in our country, and help women get connected to the resources and support that is amply available to them in our communities.”

Dead Baby Closes Florida Abortion Mill

At first glance, the headline seemed odd: “Dead Baby Found In Hialeah Abortion Clinic.” After all, aren’t abortion clinics in the business of producing dead babies? What makes this discovery newsworthy is the sordid tale of a botched abortion, a baby born alive and possibly killed after the fact, suspicion of evidence tampering, and a state that stepped in and took action to close the mill pending investigation in order to protect the public.

Unfortunately, horrific stories like this are making headlines across America with disturbing regularity. In May, Operation Rescue reported on an abortion mill in Birmingham, AL, that was closed by the state pending investigation of a botched abortion on a full term baby. That mill was later permanently closed.

In June, Operation Rescue purchased a Wichita, Kansas, abortion mill and unveiled the filthy and unsafe conditions at that facility, after helping to expose similar conditions at a now closed Kansas City abortion mill last year. However, the state of Kansas has refused to act or even inspect the state’s remain four abortion clinics where similar conditions are suspected.

This month in Chula Vista, CA, another in a long line of shoddy abortionists with the troubled Clinica Medica Para La Mujer De Hoy abortion chain is being investigated by the Medical Board of California, this time for killing a baby during delivery through negligence. (The baby’s skull was crushed during a forceps delivery, according to sources.) This is at least the fifth abortionist at the Chula Vista facility alone to undergo such an investigation. Four abortionists were stripped of their medical licenses, and one was disciplined and voluntarily left the killing industry. Yet the mill continues to operate.

The story breaking out of Hialeah, Florida, is further testament to myth of the so-called “safe, legal” abortion. Appalling conditions and shocking treatment at our nation’s abortion mills are epidemic, and have created a health crisis in our country that is mostly ignored, sometimes covered up, and rarely confronted.

It is our prayer that the Hialeah investigation will permanently close “A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center” and that those actions will inspire other states to take similar actions.

It is long past time for Americans to come out of denial about abortion and face the true state of crisis that exists at the nation’s abortion mills. The public must come to understand that shoddy conditions and shoddier abortionists are the rule and not the exception. The only way to stop the human misery inflicted on society by abortion and its aftermath is to stop it now. We at Operation Rescue are working hard to make sure that day soon becomes a reality.

Dead Baby Found In Hialeah Abortion Clinic
Clinic Has Been Closed

Dave Malkoff, Reporting

(CBS4 News) HIALEAH, FL — Hialeah Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the gruesome discovery of a dead baby’s body inside of an abortion clinic but conflicting stories may prove there’s more to the discovery than meets the eye.

The body was found at “A Gynecologists Diagnostic Center,” 3671 West 16th Avenue in Hialeah.

Witnesses tell police that a young woman, whose identity has not been released, arrived at the clinic last Thursday at roughly 22 weeks pregnant for an abortion procedure.

Police say the woman arrived the next day after the procedure complaining of severe pain. Workers at the clinic explained to her that the doctor was not available and she’d have to wait.

The woman was taken into a recovery room and according to witnessess, gave birth in the clinic. An anonymous caller, who police believe to be a clinic worker, alerted officials that the baby was born alive and possibly killed. When officials arrived, however, there was no body to be found.

CBS4’s Dave Malkoff reported that when police were called to the scene a second time Friday night, they found the body of a dead baby in a biohazard bag.

Detectives believe the abortion clinic tampered with the evidence. The fetus was reportedly 12 inches long and weighed 2-3 pounds.

Hialeah Police PIO, Frank Gonzalez, believe the baby was born premature and is unsure how the baby died.

The clinic’s doors have been closed while the investigation continues.

Officials are awaiting the autopsy, scheduled for Saturday, to determine the exact cause of death.

No word yet if charges will be filed.
